Probably the best cheeseteak I've had in the WF/Raleigh area in a while. Owner is friendly, meat is moist, bread baked in house, hot sauce was great. Some places leave me feeling bloated and overfull but I suspect the in house made ingredients are better quality.
To be fair I had to ding atmosphere one star because the place is old, but don't let that dissuade you from a great sub. The hospitality is great and it's a long standing location.

I was in the area and remembered I wanted to try this place! At first I was unsure as there were no customer's but it also was 6pm. It was very nice and clean inside so I am so glad I did, I ordered the 6” Philly Cheesesteak Combo which was a great price. Everything was cooked to order The sandwich was delicious and full of meat, 3 meals for me..unbelievable, he started seasoning my fries before wrapping and I told him no I don’t like seasoning, I had no idea and he apologized and told me he wanted me happy so give him a few mins. He cooked me more and that was well appreciated, the lemonade not sure if it was fresh squeezed but it sure tasted like it! If I could give this guy 10 stars I would and I will definitely be going back! Awesome quick service to!!

The place is filthy. When you first walk in, you think, “it’s a little cluttered, but that’s a mom and pop thing.”But then you see the grill, the way the food is stored, the mold on the bread racks, and just… everything.If there wasn’t a guy behind the counter taking orders, you’d think that place has been vacant and uncleaned for a decade.

OMG, Why?? Ask for a kids turkey sandwich and he pulls out an Oscar Meyers turkey plastic ziplock baggie, yep that what it was, the Chicken Philly was dry, so dry, very little cheese, he sprinkled Sam's club cheese on it that was it no provolone like your supposed to. It was a very run down area, the floor was dingy but pretty clean, it was bright yellow tables to offset the drap looking shop. In my college days this was the place to go but not any longer. This place has seen its last leg.
