The place is filthy. When you first walk in, you think, “it’s a little cluttered, but that’s a mom and pop thing.”But then you see the grill, the way the food is stored, the mold on the bread racks, and just… everything.If there wasn’t a guy behind the counter taking orders, you’d think that place has been vacant and uncleaned for a decade.

OMG, Why?? Ask for a kids turkey sandwich and he pulls out an Oscar Meyers turkey plastic ziplock baggie, yep that what it was, the Chicken Philly was dry, so dry, very little cheese, he sprinkled Sam's club cheese on it that was it no provolone like your supposed to. It was a very run down area, the floor was dingy but pretty clean, it was bright yellow tables to offset the drap looking shop. In my college days this was the place to go but not any longer. This place has seen its last leg.

The Philly steak sub(grilled onions, green pepper, mushrooms, cheese) is the REAL DEAL! DELICIOUS! The fries very good too!! Great staff and service!Parking: Tucked in the corner of a shopping center, a true treasure find! Plenty of shopping center parking FREE. Very laid back and comfortable.

This little hole in the wall is the definition of a hidden gem. You're there for the food, and you know it's delicious. I only get out to Raleigh once a year these days and this place is on my must-eat list every visit.

Unfortunately, I cannot go back. In this instance atmosphere will trump above-average service and good tasting food. Unclean without question! When going back for catchup I was compelled to use a napkin before touching the container again. Cigarette smoke from the back room was surprisingly unpleasant (how things change as this used to be commonplace). The best part of the experience was the freshly baked bread. Nice folks. Unfortunately, I cannot go back.

This place will put a smile on your face for days!! The sandwiches are top tier! Bread is fresh! The drinks are made fresh daily too, the kool aid is my favorite & The two men that run the place are the greatest, they have the best services & will make sure you are taken care of!! The place is so cozy you'll really feel so comfortable, I'm in love with this place. If I can give them 10 stars I would. If you in a mood for a good Philly or chicken Philly I say this place is the go to. Anyone says anything opposite of this review is lying. Lol Everything was so good I forgot to take a picture!

I'm not sure how long it's been around. But it's a raleigh staple that we don't have many of anymore. Super good. The appearance might be a turn off. Don't let it be.

Best Philly chicken and steak! I've been coming here for 20 years and the food is consistently great! Owner is always nice and really cares about the food he makes. This place has been around forever so don't expect a brand new shiny restaurant. Take it how it is and you won't be disappointed.
