We visited two weeks ago, and had the best cups of coffee…ever. We decided to make this friendly, warm, and delightful place our go to spot for excellent coffee and other treats.
Go to Pine Street Coffee!!

Chill place with great drinks. Wish we had a dive coffee bar like this closer to us.

These reviews are hilarious. The vibe is the best of any coffee shop I've been in. And if you're looking for a chill place to read, sit and chat or even work. This is hands down the best coffee shop in Raleigh for those things. If you come in here and don't like it, it's highly likely you may actually be the problem. In which case may I strongly suggest the Friday night RDU Swingers Pot Luck Meet & Greet.

This place has a very nice vibe. It's a nice chill spot to do work or just hang out.
I'm giving the rating I gave for 2 reasons. First being it was $1.70 for ANY milk alternatives. If you're lactose intolerant, this is unfortunate. Then another $0.70 for any flavors. Second reason is the coffee does have a distinct bitter-ish taste.
I did want people to be aware of the sticker price before going. Expect to pay over $8 for a latte if you need a milk alternative and want flavoring.

Great coffee shop. Lots of seating, parking, and varied coffeeemu as well as whole beans. They sell baked goods from a local maker but have a small selection; this place is more about coffee than food. Neighborhood place.

Cozy ambiance, good service, and a gingerbread cappuccino that was made beautifully. Just the kind of quiet comfort I needed today.

It’s good atmosphere and coffee, but um why is there usually only one person working? It takes forever to get anything ordered

Got a really dry espresso loaf and some moldy pumpkin bread. I'd skip the baked goods, but the coffee's pretty good depending on what you get.

No food was available ! On a monday morning, only cinnamon rolls.
Espresso lattes tasted slightly burnt, maybe a darker roast were not familiar with. Great job on not making it too sweet though!
Slightly disappointing that their specialty lattes were just syrups, not like a self made puree or cream.
Service was super nice, fast, individualized, and great overall space with lots of room. Many people just working! Free wifi!

I've been on the search to find a decent cold brew coffee in the area, and unfortunately did not find it here. The coffee had a weird burnt taste and not much flavor besides that. The quality did not match the price. The staff wasn't the most friendly either. I've frequented other coffee shops in the area and felt more welcomed.
