They utilize delivery apps to optimize their customers, but treat the drivers themselves badly. Won't allow the drivers to use the restroom even in an emergency/medical case. Claims they "respect" their drivers, but I never been to a restaurant who denies the drivers a basic necessity because they "aren't a customer". You would not even have the sale if it was not for the drivers, and the company should remember that. We are acting as the face of your customers who can not go in person.

I discovered Playa Bowls about 2 weeks ago and I have been back 3 times since! I 10/10 recommend! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance and friendly environment immediately had me in awe and has kept me coming back! I’ve been on an acai bowl kick lately and no other place has beat the service and quality of the bowls I’ve had here at Playa Bowls. Caitlin has taken and prepared my order every time I’ve come and she is efficient and phenomenal. I also had the pleasure of working with Lauren who provided exceptional customer service as well. She served me my order with the biggest smile. Both girls were friendly and super helpful. It’s evident that they love working at Playa Bowls and that they are dedicated to doing their job and doing it well! I will come back again, and again and again! I highly recommend trying Playa Bowls for any of your health food needs or if you just really want to see the cutest aesthetic and beach vibes come together in one location!

My friend and I came into this store 15 minutes before close. We both have worked in the food industry so we understood how frustrating it can be when someone comes in before close. There were two young girls. One who was nice and had darker hair, and the other one who was a ginger scoffed and seemed pissed that we were even in the store. The ginger had a coat on and looked like she was about to leave, and angrily took it off when we ordered. Before we even ordered, the ginger looked at the other employee and went “we dont have any stupid cupid so we have to make it….” And said it with attitude and had her mouth open like she was shocked. When she was blending the mix, she heavily sighed and had an angry look on her face. The other girl seemed irritated, but i dont blame her. Even if you’re frustrated, you never take it out on a customer. Everyone who has worked in customer service knows that. I have never had this experience here and it makes me not want to come back.

I had a pickup this morning for uber eats it was only one staff member when I walked in and one other customer I was not greeted and the staff member stared at me as if I was in the wrong place or something anyways I proceed to say hello and smile and ask for the customers order she eventually handed it to me I said thank you she didn't respond however she did say have a nice day bc of this experience I will not be coming back kinda turned me off
