I got both the idly in sambar and the deconstructed samosa. Each was only $8, and each alone would have been a full meal. Complex spices and great flavors. You just can't get deals like this many places these days. I'll be back for sure, next time to try their American food.

Our daughter who lives in Wake Forest brought us to Pure Vegan Cafe for lunch. The food was delicious. Definitely has an Indian influence and spicy- which we love. Save room for dessert - the Biscoff cheesecake was the so tasty. The staff recommended getting two (one to take home) - wish I’d listened. You won’t go wrong eating here.

Stopped in while traveling through Raleigh. It’s a great spot with a fully vegan all day breakfast and lunch menu. They have a good mix of health conscious foods and treats. My husband and I ordered breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and biscoff cheesecake. Everything was delicious. My teenager isn’t vegan but really liked the peanut butter waffles. Great food, nice clean atmosphere, and friendly staff. I wish we had an option like this in Pittsburgh!

I like the idea of mixing popular Indian street foods and waffles etc, and I appreciate the commitment to cruelty-free. Nice art on the wall too. However, is it healthy? Indian street foods involve either, or both, a lot of deep frying, and a lot of sugar! But the worst thing was this: the 'maple syrup' advertised to accompany the waffles is about as unhealthy a chemical mix as you could get anywhere - see photo! They gave me agave syrup instead - sweet and tasteless, a poor substitute for maple syrup! Then the avocado 'toast' was served on an English muffin, which wasn't toasted! And the 'spice' sermed to be just garlic powder (which I personally dislike). Very unsatisfying breakfast! Updated from previous review on 2025-07-31

Great vegan options, really fair priced! Love indian restaurants that don’t compromise on spice and flavor for the local crowd. Serving sizes are pretty good for individuals as well.

I dined in and had the chicken n waffles and the biscoff cheesecake. Both were amazing! It’s a good option for vegans and non vegans alike

One of my local favorite places to eat now! Every time I've been here, I've had a phenomenal experience, from the food to the service. I feel like a valued customer.

Very yummy and worth detouring from I-95 for a break. GPS put us on another road so we barely lost any time and got good food with friendly service.

Tried this place out for my birthday. Tried the avocado toast, green juice and purple bowl. The toast is super spicy. I loved it but was surprised. Take note if you don't like heat. Purple bowl was really good. Not too sweet. Very balanced. Wheatgrass was a little weak Chicken sandwich was ok, they were out of waffle fries. I got a golden milk and it was cold and awful.😡pretty disappointed Update 1-15-2023 came back for another try. We got the PVC Tikki and the BBQ Jackfruit sandwich. Both were fantastic. I upped my star rating. We will definitely be back. Updated from previous review on 2023-01-15

We stopped in for lunch on a Sunday. Service was prompt and friendly. They provided good suggestions to my daughter and helped her pick something out. I had my heart set on the chana masala wrap, which did not disappoint! My wife had the tacos and my daughter had a burger. There was a ton of food and we did not even finish the fries. Everyone really liked the lunch. There was plenty of seating and a comfortable atmosphere. We will stop again on our next trip to Raleigh.
