Best service in town and the beer is pretty good too. All kidding aside. Great atmosphere, love the Backspin and Seven Saturdays. Highly recommend the Seven Saturdays Tap Room. Great place to stop for a frosty beverage
Love this place, especially trivia!
I always come for the app state watch parties and Allie is amazing every time every season!!!! She is so kind and happy to have us every time. 10/10 give the girl a raise, I’m begging!!!!!
Amanda and Allie were fantastic. I am not a beer guy, but I told them what I like and they guided me to some good ones!
It was ok-Football games were on the tube, a lot of lounge areas. The “bartender” could’ve been a little more informative and helpful but just like the new generation she’s more concerned about her phone and socials. I would’ve spend hundreds if that had been the case. I was expecting “”southern hospitality” but I am most definitely comparing this brewery to my one back home …. cowtown brewery in Fort Worth TEXAS
The quality beers, the friendly staff and the overall vibe at R&D make this brewery a must-visit when you are in Raleigh. I had the pleasure of visiting and sampling beers here recently and it was a very positive experience, and I'm looking forward to a return visit soon.
The beer is cold and the bartenders are absolutely ? Wonderful!! Always welcoming and knowledgeable about each brew!! Cassidy, Allie, Kat and Colette are AMAZING! They truly keep me coming back!!
Visiting from out of town and absolutely loved R&D! Allie the manager was so friendly and truly made the experience 10/10!
Super fun, fresh air, great selection of beers and wine. Love it here.
Came in from our of town for a show. Came here on a recommendation... did not disappoint! Collette was amazing.. her service impeccable! Try the Dark & Stormy! You will not regret it!

Location may make this taproom less than desirable to some, but they're missing out. The beers are great and it's one of the biggest taprooms in Raleigh. No matter how many people are there, it never feels crowded. The addition of food trucks makes it even better. This place is a great low key hangout if you want good beers and good people.
We’ve lived in Raleigh for over 4 years and we finally visited last night… and I don’t know why it took us so long. This place is awesome- lots of seating, great beer, food truck was good, and they were playing the Canes game. Also can bring dogs. This will be our new go-to place!
Plenty of seating and great atmosphere! Happy 31st birthday, Brittney.
Cool atmosphere, beer was good and had musician playing acoustic. Stay away from the bartender girl with the bun- real kill joy. Was singing along with the acoustic guy, only had 2 beers and she took away my empty glass, said thank you and didn't offer me anything else. Maybe loosen up a little bit a brewery. Other than that positive experience.
Good beers and friendly, capable bar staff.
