Update: More good pizza. Lunch deal can't go wrong. Previous: Lunch deal is great. 2 slices with a drink is a perfect deal. LARGE slices on a thin crust-excellent dough.

We placed an order yesterday for 1/2 Randy's white pizza and 1/2 mushroom and pepperoni. The Randy's white did not have pieces of mozzarella or garlic, it was incredibly dry like cardboard. We have last month ordered a Caesar salad and instead of the shaved parm, it shaker parm on it. I know the cost of everything is increasing, but I wouldn't mind paying more for the quality and taste of the food.

Love their two-slice pizza special. Always get the sausage topping because it has a nice spice to it. The staff has such a positive attitude that makes your day better.

Pizza today was cooked to perfection!! Soo Many pizza places rush and don't properly cook through good enough. RANDYS GOT IT RIGHT! Charred to perfection without being burned, also really brings out the flavor of the ingredients!!!

Oh wow - this place is the real deal. I'm a NY style pizza snob (even though I grew up in the south my parents were from NJ and when we went up there we would go to their favorite NY pizza places) and this pizza was awesome - crisp on the bottom but chewy on top, perfect sauce (not too much or too sweet like some) and slightly salty chewy cheese. It takes a lot of little details to make a really good NY style pizza (like never use corn meal on the pan - only wheat flower, right sauce and right kind of cheese) and they nailed it!

My husband and I did a takeout order. It seemed like the toppings were put on a bit sparingly and they weren’t evenly spread out. BUT the taste of the Hawaiian pizza was delicious! The crust had a great crunch and the overall taste was very good.

I've had pizza from here before, and considered this place to be above average. This time I ordered a cheese pizza and some garlic knots. First impressions were good when I ordered a NY style pizza and it was the correct size as advertised. The garlic knots were a bit under-cooked; a bit doughy, but still good. Not unsafe or anything. When I bit into the pizza, I really enjoyed the cheese and the sauce. However, it was quickly ruined by the fact that the bottom of my pizza was overcooked (read: Burnt). The cheese and the sauce are the best parts of any pizza, but if the bread tastes awful, it will ruin the whole thing.
Since leaving New York, I've had a lot of problems with the consistency of how pizza is made in every pizza restaurant I've been to. Unfortunately, Randy's Pizza is no exception. I'm very tired of having to gamble when I order pizza. You have the tools you need, and a decent-to-great recipe for pizza. If this is your livelihood, you should not be getting this wrong. This is either a training issue, or an apathy issue.
Don't get me wrong, I've had plenty of bad pizza in NY. But insisting your pizza is as good as some of the pizza you can find there, while producing pizza marred with amateur mistakes, makes it very insulting to those who know better. The first pizza I had here was good enough that I wanted to order it again. Now I'm considering never bothering again.
The pizza is not bad enough that I won't finish eating it in the coming days. I'll definitely be finishing the garlic knots, that's for sure. You might get lucky and have a really excellent pizza when you order one from Randy's Pizza, but be aware you might get food that didn't have the care it needed to taste good.
Currently, I don't feel like gambling.

Awesome service and pizza! In town for the Adam Sandler concert and this place was a couple miles from the Ramada hotel. Very friendly service and a killer NY thin crust pie! Go for the meat lovers!

Randy’s had been our go-to pizza spot for 25 years now. We’ve been to almost I’ll of the locations and they’re all fantastic. Definitely one of the best NY style pizza establishments in the area. The other brilliant thing is since they have many locations across the triangle you can order where you are and get exactly what you expect. I just wish the Wake Forest location hadn’t closed.
