The ribeye was decent and the lobster Mac & cheese was great. The service was great but the atmosphere is a little off to me especially with the devils on the ceiling with the lights coming out of theirs mouths. Also don’t be fooled like we were the “Special appetizer trio” it’s not a special, you still pay for each appetizer separately at full price, the only difference is they all come on 1 plate.

The service was great but that’s about all we can rave about. The food was meh. My husband’s steak was good and the fish dish I ordered was mediocre, a little undercooked. The appetizer “special” is NOT a special, we were deceived which is frustrating. We unnecessarily ordered 3 appetizers thinking we were getting some deal but nope its special because they plate them all together. Very misleading. Honestly, after we left we wished we would have gone back to Ruth Chris’s or Perry’s. A few people recommended this place as the “best” steakhouse but we felt otherwise. We unfortunately won’t be back. Also if you sit in The Mardi Gras Room, the ceiling decor is weird…

Love the DRINKS!!! The food was okay my chicken Piccata wasn't too tasty, the entree does not come with at least 1 side. They are separate

I just wanted to share my experience at this amazing restaurant. I was there the same night as another reviewer and had the same server, Leann. She was absolutely fantastic, friendly, attentive, and professional. My group and I had a wonderful time, and the food was excellent.
It is clear that not everyone had the same experience that evening. Unfortunately, one customer was rude, yelling at staff, and behaving inappropriately. I couldnt believe how rude he was and I felt so bad for our server. I can honestly say that this was not reflective of the restaurant at all. The staff, especially Leann, handled the situation with grace and professionalism. It truly is a need now with how people think they can act and so easily disrespect others and I hope that man is embarrassed. I will definitely be coming back.
Big shoutout to Leann and the team for making our night enjoyable. Thank you for all you do.

This was my second time at Rey’s. I hosted my bday dinner there with approx 20 people & everyone loved it but bc of such a large party we had a set menu. I decided to have our date night there on Friday, March 6th so I can experience the other food and it didn’t disappoint at all. Our waitress Nora set the tone for the night with her bubbly personality & kept us laughing the entire time. She truly was lovely! Nora recommended the catch of the day and that blackened sea bass was pure perfection. I’m actually still thinking about how delightful it was. Truly everything we ate was so delicious but baby those au gratin potatoes hands down the best I ever tasted! Everything was chef kiss! Thanks for a great date night! Big shout out to Nora…the world needs more of her beautiful spirit!

Service was great, main courses were excellent. Only issues were bread, which was reheated and somewhat stale, and Cheesecake dessert which was just ok. A bit pricey, so will only go for special occasions. Atmosphere is very good.

Our meals were delicious! I had the surf and turf special “Pittsburgh style” and loved it. Guila took excellent care of us all through the meal. Everything she recommended was excellent. Ii would definitely recommend Rey’s for your next special dinner.

Service was excellent from start to finish, and the staff stayed attentive throughout the meal. The steaks were well seasoned, but unfortunately the execution on the cook was disappointing. My 10 oz filet arrived nearly rare, and I really disliked having to send it back to be corrected.
The family-style sides were tasty and well prepared, though the portion sizes felt a bit smaller than expected for sharing. On a positive note, I appreciated the kids menu having plenty of options, which made dining with family much easier.
The clear standout of the night was the banana foster. It was an awesome dessert prepared tableside and easily the highlight of the experience.
3.5 out 5 - couldn’t quite give a 4
