Love this place. We regularly enjoy Tuesday trivia, and they've always got tons of other activities going on throughout the week. Staff is always friendly, selection of on-tap options is generally pretty good, and the atmosphere is great. Would recommend!!

Great selection of drinks, plants, and knickknacks, with good specials most days. The wholesale seafood place next door produces some strong odors, but is not too bad if it's not a super windy day.Needs a bike rack somewhere outside.

We always drive by and say we want to stop in and today we finally did. Super cute. Immaculate vibes. A selection of plants, local pottery and goods, 12 beers on tap and friendly staff. I was pleasantly surprised by the music (which was the right volume for the cozy environment, we could chat comfortably.) We will be back!

What a great place to chill, no crowds. Anthony and the rest of the staff are good people. Once a month the Pinecone -Piedmont traditional music members play. Bluegrass music!

Riparian Provision is a neat spot to grab a drink at. You can order a draft beer, wine, cider, seltzer, hard kombucha or a non-alcoholic option. They also have local goods and houseplants available to purchase. If you are looking to take something home they have a good selection available too. The parking sucks but if you can't grab a spot in the small parking lot then just park on Maywood Ave and head on over. Cheers!

Anice laid back taproom with a view of downtown. They have a great number of local craft brews on tap and canned in their coolers. Family oriented with snack and drink options tailored to kids. They also sell plants, which is awesome, and I was able to purchase a satin pothos on my tab. They even carry PPPs at a good price for those of you plant lovers on the lookout. There is a $1.50 charge to drink cans on-site if you buy a multi-pack from their coolers, but that still is a tad cheaper in the long run from buying on tap. I highly recommend it!

This unique establishment that seamlessly blends the love for plants and spirits - a bottle shop and plant store in one. My experience was nothing short of delightful.First and foremost, the selection of plants was impressive. Whether you're a seasoned plant enthusiast or just starting to cultivate your green thumb, you'll find something here. From succulents to lush houseplants, they had a variety of options, and the staff was knowledgeable and eager to offer advice and care tips. Now, onto the bottle shop aspect - it was a delightful surprise. The collection of wines, craft beers, and spirits was extensive, catering to various tastes and budgets. The staff was well-versed in their offerings, making recommendations that perfectly paired with the plants I was purchasing. What truly sets this place apart is the ambiance. The interior is thoughtfully designed, with greenery interspersed among the bottles, creating a calming and inviting atmosphere. It's the kind of place where you can easily lose track of time exploring their selections.Prices were reasonable for both plants and spirits, and I appreciated the option to combine purchases from both sides of the store, making it a one-stop-shop for my weekend essentials. This bottle shop and plant store hybrid is a must-visit for those looking to elevate their home environment. It's a refreshing concept that caters to diverse interests, and the friendly staff and unique offerings make it a hidden gem in our city. I can't wait to return for both my plant and libation needs!

Came here yesterday for the first time with my hubby. I grab some thing out of the refrigerator and Hubby got a beer on draft. The gal behind the counter Friday at 4pm was unattentive and didn't care. When my husband and I went to sit on the side of the bar, she left his beer over by the register and just started talking with two guys that came up and sat at the bar. Totally ignored us. We looked around the place. We looked outside, and the outside was filthy. Seating area, enclosed, and no tables looked appealing. I'm surprised if this place doesn't last a year. Also in a not a very good neighborhood. I expect when you walk into a place that's dead as a doornail there was only one girl sitting at the bar having a drink. I would expect the bartender to say welcome or anything but nope she didn't even acknowledge we walked into the place. And then, after ordering, she just ignored us. I had to walk over to the register to pay and grab my husbands beer. Needless to say, we are not going to return.

TLDR: Plants, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, books, wine, snacks, and local products! Events and food trucks listed online. Friendly, helpful employees. Limited parking available right out front. Neat place to check out and hang around. Riparian offers a variety of items mainly alcoholic beverages. They have a bar, draft beverages, wine bottles, and cans. They also support local businesses like Locopops, Raleigh Tamales, and Bold Batch Creamery by selling their products. Non-alcoholic beverages and snacks are for sale. Occasionally food trucks are parked outside and tables are available inside to sit, drink, and dine. Check out the website for the food truck schedule. While at a nearby store, I stopped in to check out the plants. Riparian has numerous plants available for purchase. They are labeled with prices and accompanied by a sign with care instructions. They were fairly pricy so I chose one plant and other local goodies. The bartender was friendly and helpful. Overall, I had a positive visit here and recommend this establishment to others!

Love the cozy yet airy vibe of the space! It’s a perfect spot to grab a drink with lots of NA options for non drinkers and kiddos, too. We love meeting some friends and hanging out for the afternoon! It’s a perfect neighborhood bar for south Raleigh!

As someone who lives in SW Raleigh, I have to say, it's amazing to see the area growing and having new places like Riparian pop up. The space is so relaxing, likely because of all the plants [for sale], as well as the wonderful bar staff and open air store. You can drink your beer/wine there, or take things to go. They also offer various snacks, provisions, gifts, sustainable household items, and native plants for sale. There's always something going on, whether it be trivia, wine tastings, food trucks, yoga, or unique workshops. Furthermore, there's a kids corner!! The owners have two young kids of their own and have made it a point to make it a family/kid friendly environment (dogs too, inside and out!). Let's be honest, kids can be trying, and it's nice to go to a place where both you and your kids are welcome so you can relax a bit. Also, they have a cute outdoor space that's fenced in for both kids and pups :)Whether you go there to meet friends, taste some wine, or work remotely, you're guaranteed to have a delicious drink and a relaxing time. Would recommend!
