If you didn’t need dental work before, you might if you order this chicken. Fried so hard that most of it was not edible. After one and a half partial pieces, I just ate tater tots. Dry bland biscuit. It seems the one in Chapel Hill is consistently better. Never going to the one in the Village District again. This was me trying to give them another chance. A complete waste of money.😡 No idea why I couldn’t attach the pictures, but I added them to the Restaurant photos. You can identify by the super hard frying job they did on the “tenders”. They had to know that those were overdone.

This is an edit to my 5 star review I posted before because everything went down hill: The past few months I wasted my money on this place. I crave how good the food used to be. I always get the same thing and consistently has been bad for months. What happened? The chicken patties are now so burnt and dry and maybe even seasoned differently? Most of the time now always inedible. Who ever is in charge of cooking now- fire them! You would do yourself a huge favor. RIP to what was the best chicken place around.
Old review: I have been coming to this location since it opened and I love this place! The staff is always great and helpful. They make pick up easy and the food is always perfect.

My coworker ordered breakfast and the meat was missing but the receipt showed I paid for it. This is the second incident where rise has screwed up my order. Then they don't answer the phone door dash dont fix the orders Rise does and they blame it on Doordash

I was underwhelmed. I ordered the honey hot butter biscuit. The butter was frozen and in 2 chunks. It was unsettling to bite into. The cheese was tore up into pieces like maybe they were trying to get it from a frozen block too. I was disappointed but my husband loved his food. Maybe if the items can be defrosted before serving that would drastically improve the experience.

I absolutely hate biscuits but this place is game changer. They hands down are the best breakfast spot around and would recommend everybody to try this place. I never do these reviews but this place deserves all the recognition they can get i try to go at least 3 times a week

Ordered Rise today through Door Dash. The power went out briefly in the store so there were issues. Things happen, no big deal. Apparently they didn’t receive the order from DoorDash according to our delivery driver. Trying to clear up how to proceed though was an issue. No one would answer the phone. Again, not the end of the world.
When the food arrived though, not only was the order wrong (they didn’t have biscuits or gravy) but the tater tots were so salty they were completely inedible. Spent $40 on a meal for me and my girlfriend that didn’t meet any of our standards.
Poor customer service, communication, order accuracy AND food quality. I’m a regular here, but I will be finding another place to get breakfast with my girlfriend moving forward.

Love that there are several new biscuits options! The righteous chicken box with grits....sooo good! My husband loves the biscuits and gravy box with added egg and bacon 🥓 😋 yummy! The pickup inside system is unique and easy with each order having it's own box and can only be opened with correct name. RISE is easily in our top 2 places when we want quality breakfast takeout!

Best biscuits! Everything I’ve had is great but Rise’s glazed blueberry biscuit is amazing!

I ordered Uber Eats, and my order was wrong, so I left Rise a Voicemail since they are the ones who fix the food. A manager named Ken called me back and apologized and said he will refund my money. I gave him the i formation he asked for. He calls me back to say I need to take it up with Uber Eats and hung up on me. I tried to call back and he kept sending me to his cell voice mail. Everybody knows Uber Eats don't take phone calls any longer I would never order from them again. My job orders for us there 3 times a week but Ken needs to know how to manage not be a coward and hang up.

I’ve moved Raleigh recently & RISE is conveniently located , just 5minutes away. I’m pleased with the food so far on my second visit. I like having the option to order online & pickup in 20minutes. Other comments on the size of the biscuits I found them comparable with other breakfast types of grab n go places.My food was delicious!
