It's okay. The sushi was fine but for me, it was too expensive for what we got.

for face value, not bad for what it is! Some of the sushi options were good (volcano roll!!) but not the best-tasting quality and room temperature. Crab rangoons were pretty bad though, so I wish I had tried other appetizers/menu options. Very noisy/busy in there but to be fair I went on a Saturday for dinner lol and got seated at the bar. Great option for endless sushi!

I like that you can pay as soon as you come in. So you can leave as soon as you're ready.
My husband and I paid $49 which included tip. Came around 2pm on sat. Food was fresh and quality better than a Chinese buffet that would serve sushi.
Food ordered off the iPad comes pretty quickly. Slightly more portions on the plate that I expected. So I couldn't finish it.
Atmosphere is really relaxed and kid friendly. The only small gripe I have is the women's bathroom was a bit gross. Other than that 5 stars!!!
I highly recommend! I wish more restaurants served this way! 🍣😋

Good sushi buffet. Can just sit comfortably in one place, and have all food delivered to the table. They have plenty of options besides sushi.

I have ate here a few times in the past. Loved it. However this place has recently changed the name and possible new owners. Food was ok. Some portions were smaller. And they didn't have the great variety of sushi they use to have on the conveyor belt. Also...the price was to high in my option for the quality we got. Don't think I will be missing this place in the future.

Sushi was very mediocre. Not horrible, but also oddly warm. The meat dishes you order were insanely overcooked and well done. While the sauce tasted great, the dryness of the meat was not to my tastes and they really should be aiming for a medium instead of an extra well done. Not even my dad could eat it and he prefers his steak well done.

This was a big disappointment. We had been looking forward to trying this place out for awhile based on the rave review. To be honest, this was nothing more than a Chinese buffet experience, and gas station sushi probably tastes better than this sushi. The desserts were also terrible. The only positive from this experience was that the appetizers and entrees ordered from the tablet came out relatively fast. Definitely will be a one-time experience for us.

This was the highlight of our trip. We're from Lynchburg, and we're in town for GalaxyCon, which was awful, so we came here to eat afterward, as it was recommended to me by my doctor. I thoroughly enjoyed it for the most part. My only complaints were that as newcomers, the process with the screen could have been explained to us a little better (we thought we had to pay extra for what we ordered there) and that even though I almost slipped and fell on some sauce someone spilled and I told an employee, they didn't clean it up; they only put a wet floor sign near it. The latter was not just incredibly stupid, but of course, incredibly dangerous, and a lawsuit waiting to happen, depending on who you get.

I always leave there more than full! I don’t like their desserts though.

Name change to NEO Sushi express, you can no longer order the sushi you want thats available on a menu, instead you are limited to whats already made and put out on the conveyor belt. Most sushi dishes are deep fried so not much fresh choices. I'm not impressed but the choices of sushi available on the conveyor belt. You can order hibachi items on the tablet at the table but no sushi. The hibachi steak we ordered was rubbery and dry. Very disappointed, We will choose a new sushi spot next time dining in Raleigh.

Love this place 10/10 reasons listed below… keep in mind first time going
1. It’s all you can EAT for a great price. Literally everything is free for 1 price. Even the hot food is no extra cost. Free refills after initial purchase
2. Private tables without the pressure from seeing others or even a waiter for that matter. Just grab or order what you want they bring it. They leave. I love that. When finish eating just stack your plates and they’ll come get it.
3. Sushi was SOOOOOO GOODDDD. I love the idea of trying crazy sounding sushi if I’m not a fan it’s ok. Just grab another.
4. The workers are great the front staff super nice and chill. Explained everything to me with no problems. The staff on July 27th, 2025 around lunch time were quite literally the best.
5. So many variations of sushi.
Just go, you won’t regret it.
Things the owners can add to make the experience even better….
Holiday themed conveyor belt
Japanese speaking characters that activate when door to conveyor belt is opened. (Option to turn it off)
Sushi eating contest. Leaderboards.
Button at the tables for individuals to track how many sushi’s they have eaten. Cool way to tell people. “I ate 70 sushi rolls”

I visited Rockin’ Rolls Sushi and was served raw tilapia, which is not sushi-grade and unsafe to eat raw. Tilapia is a freshwater fish that can carry parasites and bacteria unless fully cooked—no reputable sushi restaurant uses it for raw dishes. The piece I tried tasted muddy and off, and I immediately spit it out.
This is a serious food safety issue, and I wouldn’t recommend eating here until they address their sourcing and preparation standards.
