The New Year's Eve party was very good, but there was a waitress with her hair completely loose serving the appetizer buffet. I saw her hair touching the bread, and I thought it was totally unhygienic to have hair in the food. The desserts could have been tastier. I saw that many people tried them but didn't like them. Here's a tip for future parties.

Dare I say best wedding food ever? We had Rocky Top cater our wedding a few weeks ago and the food was the talk of the day! I still have people telling me weeks later that they are thinking about the food at our wedding. Our faves were the tomato soup shooters, the Asiago and sun dried tomato stuffed chicken, and the mac n cheese (seriously, can I have the recipe???)
The whole Rocky Top team was also just a breeze to work with, Nichole was so kind, lovely, and communicative. The staff working day of was attentive and funny.

We used them to cater our wedding; they provided hors d’oeuvres, entrees, desserts, late night snack pizza (highly recommended!), and a full bar. They also let us serve two signature cocktails. We went to a food tasting and loved all of the selections we chose, during it they gave us a sample of desserts (even though we hadn’t decided to use them for desserts). They were so delicious that we came back for a second tasting for just desserts, at no extra charge, and decided on a selection of their mini desserts to serve. During our wedding the wait staff did a great job of walking food around to all of the guests during cocktail hour and serving our plated meal in a timely manner, where no guest was left waiting. The food was perfect! The bar staff did a good job of keeping the line moving and serving deliciously crafted cocktails the whole night. Rocky Top did a great job of listening to our wants and working with our wedding planner and rental company to make sure we had everything we needed for the night.

Rocky Top was a great choice for our wedding! I greatly enjoyed the food and many guests commented on how much they loved everything, esp the vegan chocolate cupcakes. The staff was also kind and efficient is setting up and cleaning up. They really helped make our special day extra special! Thank you!

For the rehearsal dinner, we went with a chef-attended carving station and veggies served buffet style. Everything was hot and tasty and the staff were great.
For the wedding sit-down dinner, we had braised beef short ribs, salmon, and vegetarian options. Each came with their own side. I’m impressed with how well they cook for the masses because it was just as good as the tasting! The pimento beef sliders for the late-night snack and the flaming donut station were especially popular. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how much they loved our wedding food!
Having great food at a wedding is crucial and Rocky Top delivered. 10/10 recommend!
