We were staying at the Marriott and ate here during a conference break. I did not feel like driving around and going in anywhere else. I was definitely pleased with what they offered in the menu choices. I thought the french fries were good and the food was plentiful. The burger was pretty big. Probably too big to be honest. it was a good burger. The service at the bar was awesome. She definitely went above and beyond. Somebody else I was with got the veggie burger and said it was really really good and she is not a vegetarian by nature. If I were staying at this hotel would definitely go here again.it's easy and good.

The breakfast buffet is excellent and, while a little spendy, is worth it once in a while. The dinner food is good, but on par with other restaurants, and at a higher price point. The service is a bit slow in the morning, and overwhelmingly slow in the evening. As in, over an hour to get a burger on several occassions. The environment is nice, but it can get a bit loud, especially if there is a lot of activity at the hotel.

I was staying over at the Marriott hotel and came down to pick up some food. On my first visit I came down after check in. The bar area was filled with people. They staff told me they were no longer serving lunch and it was too early for dinner. I had to order from the bar food menu. I ordered the Rye Burger which came with bacon, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and fries. It was very large and packed with flavor. The fries were the highlight with the seasonings they used. The meal was very good. I wish I had a bigger tray as everything started slipping down and falling all over. It was great regardless. The second time I came down here was for check out. It was about 12pm so I was hoping to get some brunch. The staff informed me they were no longer serving breakfast. They only had the lunch menu available. I should have gone over to the Starbucks down the hall but I was already sitting down and decided to order the Hickory Chicken Sandwich. It was a grilled chicken breast, mustard barbeque, applewood smoked ham, jack cheese lettuce, tomato, red onions, and a pickle. This sandwich was underwhelming. I did not enjoy it. It felt very bland. I should have sticked with my original idea and go to Starbucks for a breakfast meal. Maybe on a different day it would have been good but today it was not.

I just had lunch here and overall it was a good experience. Walked in and the hostess had a little attitude when I asked for a table near windows explaining she was seating us in the rotation! Ok but it was quiet and I prefer a nicer table near light. Done. We had chicken and dumplings along with the local green salad top with chicken. Both were very good. Cousin had the grilled cheese with fries. Lunch was very good and we really enjoyed it. This was really a 4.5 however.

Our server was really nice and professional, but my meal was subpar. The fried oysters were tough and chewy to the point where I had to take it out of my mouth. I didn’t want to risk trying to swallow them. It makes for a disgusting display at the side of your plate! They were also bland. I was hoping that my main course would be better. The braised short rib was also tough and chewy. No tenderness here! Now the dessert on the other hand was delicious! I had the bourbon pecan pie.

I was staying at the hotel and decided to try out Rye’s brunch around 4pm the day I arrived. They ran out of what my partner wanted to try (one of like… seven things on the menu) so I just ordered some seafood hush puppies. They were awful! Rubbery and tasteless. Service was friendly but slow.

Food is amazing. Some of the best wings I've ever had and the pork was insanely tender and flavorful. Only issue is that the service wasn't great but it was good enough. There were several open tables but we had to wait 10+ minutes for a specific table to open. Also we had breakfast here as well and it was tasty but maybe not worth the price.

The service was amazing. Ordered the ham n cheese omlet, over cooked and dry. The waitress was super nice that's why I bumped this up to a 4.

Rye bar offers good southern food. The grits were very flavorful and the portions are really large. If you are in a hurry, this is not the place to be. We arrived at 4:30, and dinner menu started at 5 pm. We were told the apps would come sooner while we waited for the dinner menu to start. We put in our order around 4:45 and didn't get any food until 5:30, and we were on a tight timeline. The kitchen was very slow and the service was a bit slow without the waiter checking in. If you have flexibility the food is worth the wait.

I try to avoid restaurants in hotels but would have missed a gem had I done so. I'm here with a large conference and was afraid the wait would be long. To my surprise, I was seated quickly. I did have to wait and ask for my server but the lady I asked wasn't my server and still took my order! I ordered salmon and double Brussels sprouts and OMG! Both were amazing. I wanted to know what each had been cooked in but I'm sure it was something I didn't need or need to know. The salmon was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The Brussels sprouts had a really nice savory taste. So I stand corrected. Restaurants in hotels can be pretty good, actually great. Let's see what some wings will be like tonight. And you can guess that I'm getting Brussels sprouts again!

Late dinner after the ballet. Close to event center, short walk. Great atmosphere for dinner without being overcrowded. Food selections include the regular items with some great alternatives. Service was great, very attentive without being bothersome. Suzan was our server and we couldn't have had better experience. Food was very tasty and fresh and was the perfect portion for a late supper. Try the meatloaf, you won't be disappointed!!

Waited over almost an hour for food. Food was just ok, cowboy steak is just a bone in ribeye and overcooked. Very pricey for the quality of food. Atmosphere was wonderful as we were celebrating a birthday but would not return.
