It saddens me to have to post a negative review for this place, BUT we were anticpating this visit so much. Keep in mind, this was on a Wednesday evening around 6 pm. It was going to be our first time, we came from Garner, and we wanted to try those Mozzarella sticks that they keep posting on FB. Tell me why we go in, it feels as if we are urged to make a take out order, so we ask for mozzarella sticks and a meat lovers pizza. They tell us, "No mozzarella sticks ???? and then continue to tell us they have no drinks either.TRIP RUINED, we left! How don't you have drinks, and mozzarella sticks. What's pizza without soda or a drink?? We won't be back.

Empty when we went. Looked like high school kids cooked our food and it wasn’t that clean.

First time eating here. Extremely upset that the cook forgot or overlooked my order. 2 slices of pepperoni. Everyone at our table received their food & had finished eating & I had yet to receive mine. At this point we took it to go along with our garlic knots (no garlic) which came to the table as we were leaving. Although my meal was compt I didn't get to eat with my party.

We got two small (12") pizzas. The cheese was good, the pepperoni had too many pepperoni for my liking.

Just damn good pizza. Traditional NYC pizza that has a fantastic blend & ratio of bread, sauce, and cheese. As a northern transplant it's hard to find a good slice down here.... There's a comfort to Salvios that goes unmatched. It's an authentic pizza shop through and through.

Best pizza I’ve had in Raleigh so far. The flavor was fantastic and the crust was on point.

Wings were overcooked and dry, the dessert we got, the dough was tough, couldn’t eat it. The pizza was okay. I don’t recommend this place

They're doing a Brooklyn Style variation of NY Pizza, and it's really good. These are pizza people. Toppings were high quality. Dough was made fresh right there, I can tell. Nice balance of salt, sweetness, and savory seasoning in the sauce. This is a well-thought-out pizza. With a coupon that came in the mail, it wasn't a bad price. I did the takeout. Pizza was ready when I got there. Stayed warm in the box all the way home.

Ordered here because they had decent reviews and my go-to place(s) were closed, it was a Monday of course. I ordered a pizza, garlic-parm wings and a side Caesar salad (to cancel out the pizza and wings, obviously)….Everything was good. Maybe even great. The pizza had a nice thin, crispy crust and the cheese wasn’t burnt or greasy, toppings were average. Wings had a good amount of sauce on them and came right off the bone. The salad was pretty standard as far as salads go, it did the job. As a bonus the staff were friendly and helpful when I arrived to pick up my order. Would definitely recommend.
It's just ok. Atmosphere is SAd. Tvs don't work. Employees not dressed in Italian attire, just random t shorts and jeans. Employees wandering inside and outside, looking at phones constantly. It looks like about to go out of business.

Ordered a gourmet pizza, they didn’t tell us they were out of toppings. Sent pizza anyway, charged us full price. $20 for a small pizza without toppings that are supposed to come on a pizza. Called back and was told nothing they could do about it. What a waste

Good NY style pizza....most of the time. Food is pretty inconsistent here. Delivery is awful at certain times of the day. Have had quite a few issues with Salvio's in Raleigh. But when they have certain staff on duty, pizza is really good. I would not recommend eating inside though, tables are always sticky, seems like they got them second hand and the tables have a permanent sticky residue on them. Drink fountain in the back is dusty and had black mold growing where ice comes out. Otherwise, if you order pick up and the right staff is on duty then Salvio's is great, but other times, not so much.

Pizza was tasty. Nice big slices with a good amount of toppings. Usually a go to spot once a week.

As a New Yorker transplanted to N Carolina I'm always on the lookout for 2 things: NY style bagels and NY style pizza! Salvio's gets a thumbs-up from this hard - to - please New Yorker. Get a slice of the Full Size (NOT the personal size) pie and you'll know what I mean. The small, personal pie didn't have that great puffy NY outer-edge crust and was a bit thin and overdone. But, ah... the full-size pie nailed it! If only it was closer, I'd probably be there at least once a week.
Best for take out. Typical NY
