San Jose Mexican Restaurant

Nobody answered the phone and phone line is not a good one. Couldn’t even order food for my family. Door dash doesn’t allow you to alter food for this restaurant so was going to call to make sure I get my food the way I wanted and had to completely cancel my order. Was home sick with a sick child so couldn’t leave.

The hostess/order taker was rude and disrespectful. It is never OK to be unsympathetic and rude to the customer when the issue is NOT the customer’s fault and the customer is giving the restaurant their money for their order to be correct.

I'm sad to write this review because I've been a loyal customer to San Jose for YEARS. I went to get takeout from them last Friday and it was a complete mess. I waited patiently for 45 minutes for my takeout order. I ordered 4 separate meals and 75% of my order was incorrect and cold. I was also overcharged for food that I did not order. I always like to give businesses I support a second chance, but after bringing the issue up multiple times through phones calls with employees and the manager I feel as though I'm getting the runaround. A honest manager would apologize and simply issue a refund, but it feels like he is trying to do anything but that. I have issued a complaint to the NCDOJ because I paid for items I did not order and they will not issue a refund. I look forward to trying other Mexican restaurants in the Wake Forest area.

New to the area and looking for a good go-to Mexican restaurant, this place won’t be it. Bland fajita order, and must be one of the only Mexican places that doesn’t include chips and tomato salsa with its delivery order. Not necessarily dinging for that, but that together with the low food quality, two stars.

Was not a fan of how high everything was priced. Food was good but I’ve had better savory Mexican food. Queso wasn’t real goats milk either and was pretty salty.

My new favorite place to celebrate birthdays! Our waiter Fabio was attentive and made sure that our celebration was on point. The margaritas was delightful and enormous! When the staff found out that we were celebrating a birthday, they came out sparklers, confetti and a treat. It was really fun and special.
The tortilla chips were warm and each person had their own salsa bowl. Everything was delish. Oh, I forgot to mention the great outdoor seating and enormous TVs inside (if u want).
Definitely check them out!

Lunch is just right and priced very nominally. Dinner is a bit costly affair. But the food is awesome, and so does the ambience.

This afternoon we were in this restaurant, everything was good, both the service and the food, but the prices are very high, it may be because of the place where they are located, but I feel that we paid too high a price for 6 adults and 3 children, a bill of about $700 dollars was too much, to return to this place you have to think twice.
