San Jose Tacos & Tequila

I've been eating here since 2017. I ordered 4 tacos on Sunday, October 28th. To my surprise, they were horrible. The meat was under seasoned, dry, and hard. I believe it was left over meat. It was damn near Jerry. The tortilla taste stale. Nothing was fresh and tasty about my meal. This is first time in my 8 years eating here, I've had bad food.

Do not go! The place is dirty! Also be prepared! I do not know why but we were bombarded by unexciseably loud music! My daughter was left in tears as the employees laughed. I will never go back again!

Everything was great! The food was delicious. Fresh, hot, and served by an awesome server. Service was fantastic and great margaritas.

Vegetarian options: Cheese stuffed problano peppers were delicious.

The taco was great and messy. The enchilada was bland. But the beans were horrible. They have no flavor and look like a baby popped on the plate. Very unappealing, and I will never order them again. The margarita was a bit sweet for me, but that is a matter of preference. My server was great.

Love the food. We have only been in town for a week and have eaten there twice. It's our new favorite Mexican food restaurant.

Our food and our server were really awesome! The support staff not so much.

The guy who delivered our chicken soup separately than the other food made quite a show of being surprised and thrown off by how much food we ordered, which was 3 tacos, a burrito, and soup. It was weird and rude of a restaurant staff member to have that kind of reaction. You'd think they'd be happy if customers ordered a lot, which we really had a normal amount in my opinion, because the tip is bigger on larger checks but idk.

There was a miscommunication when ordering some food to go for my partner at home where we wanted buffalo wings but our server heard mango habanero which is totally understandable if you only hear the ending of the words with the loud music playing, but the person I was ordering for is mildly allergic to mango. So I asked a guy inside who looked like the manager, just the first person who turned around to help us so not sure, if we could get some buffalo wings instead because of the allergy.
I've worked in a couple restaurants and know the vibe when they don't believe you/are irritated they have to get it remade but it was weird because I was really nice about it. I was just like ok thank you and he got it fixed, but had the same irritated vibe when he dropped off the correct order.

We got up to leave the outside patio but the gate was closed and no one else was outside with us so we thought it might've been locked so were just gonna go through inside so we could also use the bathroom on the way out. The same guy that was rude/weird about the amount of food we ordered came to bus the table and was very condescending trying to show us the gate and that we could leave that way when we were trying to go inside, kinda speaking to us like we were kids and showing us how to open the gate. We were just like ok thanks I guess.

All that being said, our server was awesome and sweet and the food was good, just the support staff we interacted with had bad customer service tonight for whatever reason. First time eating here, might get the food to go in the future but not super interested in interacting with the support staff again.

My roommate and I ordered this on Uber eats and it was very good. If it taste this good with delivery, I con only imagine how great it would be fresh out of the kitchen.

Delicious food! A tad expensive but so is everything in today's economic climate. The queso was great and the birria tacos made my mouth water, so good and tender with the perfect consóme. Delicious elote too! I usually order from here on DoorDash and actually came in person this time, definitely a lovely atmosphere to eat in but the parking lot behind was a bit sketch. The house margarita was decent, could have been a bit stronger for the price.

First time checking this place out and it was just ok, I've had better Mexican food. The problems I had was the prices of drinks were more than the food itself and that's where they make their money. The table side guacamole was on the salty side. The enchiladas were ok as well. Unless they have a happy hour special here I won't return.

Food is so good! They'll make gauc right at your table! Drinks are also great. Fantastic atmosphere as well! Will go again..a lot!

Place reeked of sewage last night, not sure what that was about. It was bad enough that my girlfriend and I HAD to leave before getting an order in. This place seems like it has lost its way recently.

We have two small children, one needs a high chair. The waitress sits us in a high traffic area near a large party, when there were plenty of booths to the side with less traffic. Secondly, we recieved the wrong meats in both of our orders. I don't send food back to the kitchen or complain, due to a lack trust of food workers. I almost forgot, a waitress walked by and kicked the high chair twice. Although she apologized
(sarcastically)the second time, I let her know it had happened twice, she looked at me like like I was crazy.
