This is my favorite Mediterranean place in the Triangle. The food is always excellent and it's fun to watch them take the pita bread fresh out of the oven.

Always Great tasty food. Just watch and be sure the servers are wearing gloves while handling your food. Unfortunately, a gentleman serving thought it was a good idea to smush my salad down with his WHOLE BARE HAND🤢....The nice ladies at the register had it re-made and fussed at the guy for not having gloves, made him wash his hands too...all while he was giving me the side eye😂She was a hero lol

Really good and fresh Greek food. Prices seem great and the variety of food is impressive. We went for the 1st time recently and have been back a few times since. I am glad we 'found' Sassool and we will be back again soon. Warm pita bread and chicken kabobs and all the salads are especially good.

Once again, Sassool impressed. My family of five, after traveling 6.5 hours from western NC, was eager for a good, non-fast food dinner and we arrived to great smells and wonderful food. We had chicken and beef kabobs with an assortment of sides. Their thorough service was appreciated because we have a variety of food allergies so the chef doubled checked to make sure we were safe. Thanks again for coming through in a pinch.

We loved the food at Sassool. We were in Greece last year and we felt like we were transported back to Paros. The fresh pita was delicious with the hummus and baba ghanouj. I recommend the chicken shwarma and the kabobs. I am looking forward to going back.

It is a great place to have a quick bite. I hope they be able to improve the food quality to better represent their Lebanese background. We visit the place almost every week. The effort is there, the team is lovely! They just need a better, more authentic taste.

Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because it was my first time here, and I want to try it again before I decide.
The bad: My order was filled over 20 minutes late, and the staff didnt apologize or seem aware of that at all despite asking about it twice. My coworkers order that was due after mine was the only order ready on arrival.
My kebab sandwich was cold despite being so late compared to my coworkers whose food was still warm despite waiting for me to get mine. The steak was tough and overcooked.
On the website you get to decide between white or whole wheat pita for your entree, but not for the sides of pita. I was dissapointed to find out the 12 pita I ordered were whole wheat, and very dry.
The good: The store is very cute, and has a fun grocery store section with european snacks and foods.
The bakery case was delicious. The pumpkin cake, stuffed dates, and biscoff cheesecake were all great.
My coworkers enjoyed their non beef based entrees, they loved the falafel. The white bread pita is delicious. The sides were all decent.
