We love the food here—it’s always fresh and delicious. But it’s frustrating that all the labels for the buffet items are removed over an hour before closing. Without signs, we don’t know what each item is, which is hard for those unfamiliar with the cuisine and especially risky for anyone with food allergies. Asking about each item seems repetitive. It only takes a minute to remove the signs, so doing it closer to closing would really help. We hope you’ll consider keeping them up longer—it would make a great dining experience even better.
Great selection, great value, quick service during my lunch break. I love the little specialty market inside - great for buying spices, pita, and Mediterranean ingredients.
I come here every Sunday literally. I love Sassool. Fresh produce, great meats. Phenomenal vibes
We order takeout from Sassool probably once a week and it never disappoints. Easy to add sides here and there and the kids options are solid as well. Our go-tos are the pick 4 platter and kebob platter - you can’t go wrong!
My favorite spot for Mediterranean food in N Raleigh. The kebobs are always great and the sides are awesome!
So this was new to me, and I can't complain about the food. I'm used to eating indian cuisine, and this is not the same, though it has some similarities. Very little salt added, but besides that, I had several things, and I will say the price is fine...roughly $12-15 for an entree no matter if lunch or dinner. That a main and 2 sides or even 4 sides, and they have sides that include chicken like curry and rice with chicken and carrots. I got a veggie lasagna with 2 sides (greenbeans in tomatoe sauce and rice with carrots) and a grape leaf rice wrap. I dont know the proper names, so my apologies. All was just okay. However, I wouldn't go back because I just didn't really enjoy it. The veggie lasagna had sliced potatoes, squash, and eggplants in it with tomatoe sauce and topped with cheese... just wasn't that good. I never had veggie lasagna with big slices of potatoes in it, but I'm not going to judge it since it could be a cultural dish, and that's how it's prepared. The greenbeans were good with salt added, and the rice thing was okay. I like the K&W style of it. Most Foods are already made, and they scoop it in front of you. The lady helping let me even try a sample of other things. I tried the ratatouille, which was cubed eggplant in tomatoe sauce...not good to me...and I also tried some fried cabbage, which is also not good to me. They had like 10 different prepared salads to choose from as well. I sat in an area that had a bunch of plugs to charge my phone. They provided a water cup and pita chips when asked FOC. There is a small grocery store in there as well. There was plenty of seating...wish I would've taken pics of the scene, but my battery was too low. It's located in a nice shopping center as well. There is a popular thrift store, Lowes Grocery store, etc. Right off Six Forks road near i540. I didn't rate it harshly as it was my taste buds, I think. It's a good place to get a quick Mediterranean meal and that grape leaf thing was good.
Really good Mediterranean food. Friendly staff. Dining area is a bit bland.

My family order 4 chicken cabob sandwich and all of them came with the pita really cold. Like it was taken out of the refrigerator and it was because I saw when the employee took it out of fridge. I paid 54.52 for a cold meal. Now I don't mind paying that much for good food and I sure do expect a good service. Sitting from all the way in the back I could observe the their is not much controll in that place. The person that was cleaning pass the broom over the counter of the food to get it to the other side. Employees not washing hands I saw many other disturbing things. then when I saw their Inspection point it has 95.5 I have been their many other times because food is good. But seeing what I saw today I dont think I will be back for a while And I write this message hoping the Owner can read it and pay more attention to his restaurant. It will be sad to see really good food go.
Great place to try out Mediterranean food. Fine varieties of salads, hummus, sandwiches/falafel. Their oven baked pizzettes were surprisingly good. Ampls of indoor and outside sitting area and adequate options for kids.

Ate here for the first time yesterday, at lunch.
This place is amazing. The food is so good, the only downside is that my stomach isn't large enough to try all the different dishes at once. Already planning to come back this weekend with my family. Plenty of seat in and outside (covered). Also, check out the small mart they have inside.
