Wow. Everything we had tonight was extremely tasty, looked beautiful, and was reasonably priced. Highly recommend

Nothing to write home about. Menu was limited, food nice, & Prices right. It is a contemporary take on Korean fusion, including the absence of Korean staff inside and outside the kitchen. It is my bias, no doubt! Will I go there again, may be! never!

I love the sharing style comfort food plates and the fun cocktails you get in a glowing bag. Really cozy atmosphere that's perfect for rainy nights with friends.

We had the spicy pork udon noodles, the dumplings, and the Korean fried chicken wings... Everything was phenomenal. We had leftovers and my husband is currently licking his fingers from how good the wings are. The ambiance was wonderful, the service was great, and everything is 10/10. Will definitely be back

Simply put, it's the best Korean food I've ever had! My brother and I were strolling the streets of Glenwood (and, by the way, if you go off Glenwood Ave., you find more places like this!). I suggested Korean and he was on board.Inside, it's cozy, dimly-lit, and attended by a friendly and knowledgeable staff. We sat at the bar. All of the dishes are essentially tapas-style.

My favorite restaurant in Raleigh for sure. Dumpling soup (5/5) Definitely get the dumpling soup, the rich tonkotsu broth makes me wish they offered ramen here despite being a Korean restaurant or at their sister restaurant City Market Sushi! They are generous with the rice cakes and pork and the dumplings are perfect. The beef tartare (5/5) Never had beef tartare with pear, or pear with soy sauce but it surprisingly works really well. This dish is also a favorite. Comes with a quail egg on top which is fun. Miso tofu (4/5) Came out nice and hot, good, flavorful, and one of the cheaper tapas, just not super special. The kind of thing an auntie tastes and says "I could make this myself!" Come here for your birthday because you get an amazing birthday dessert. Green tea ice cream with churro and a nutella smear. The green tea ice cream is a perfect balance of bitter and sweet.

Seoul 116 for dinner was the move on a Friday evening. I knew from my friend that this spot was close to Clouds Brewery and Morgan Street Food Hall. I'd also heard that the atmosphere is nice for date night and their Korean food is pretty good. We sat at the bar, since we were told by the hostesses that the other tables had people they were expecting to show up for reservations. We ultimately didn't mind the bar at all-- the bartender and our server, Francis, was quite nice. For the two of us, we ordered: the Bibimbap, the Japchae, and the KFC. The fried chicken wings came in an order of 5 or 6 pieces. These actually were quite delicious! I loved the sauce, even though they didn't have the crunch I love for KFC at other places. Now that I think about it though, we didn't get radish kimchi with it that I see in other pictures! How come? Anyways, the Bibimbap and Japchae were both nice portions and richly flavored. The Bibimbap was indeed cooked in a hot pot and our server mixed it for us (he asked if he should or we wanted to do it ourselves-- with my face stuffed with chicken, muffled words escaped to tell him we could do it, but he misheard and was kind enough to do it for us. It's on the pricier side for Korean food with no free banchan, but it's good quality. I'd eat here again!

Visiting Raleigh to see my friend, this restaurant made me want to move to NC. Staffs were all welcoming and caring. My water glass never empty. Three of us ordered 6 dishes considering everything is tapas. More than enough food. Very generous serving. Best yet, so yummy!!! Their eggplant is to die for. You must get a side of rice because the sauce is crazy!! And the pork belly and the hamachi salad and the kimchi fried rice. If I could, I'd pick this restaurant up and carry it back home so I can go eat everyday.

We had the wings and the tuna first. BEST WINGS EVER! They were crispy, seasoned well, and the sauce was exactly how Korean BBQ should tastes! The bulgogi sliders and udon with spicy pork was also really good, too. Definitely an amazing spot for Korean in Raleigh!!!

First time visitor and I was amazed with every aspect. From the ambiance and decor to the food and music everything was perfect. I ordered the pork belly sliders and the stir fried udon noodles and everything was amazing. I also ordered the Seoul capri from the bar. The waiter was very attentive and helpful. I will definitely come back many times.

Lots of interesting flavors and textures. This place is a little hidden away, but the ambiance is great, and the food is even better.
