The pizza has been good in the past when I ordered. I called at 3:30 Wednesday afternoon to place a pick up for a few slices on my way home and was told they do not take pick up orders for slices over the phone.
After 17 years of various roles in the restaurant business (cook/cashier/bartender/ manager/ GM) and majoring in hospitality management, I understand there could be legit reasons for not taking a call in order.
My reply to being told that info was “ok thanks man” the employees response was to hang up without another word. There are so many acceptable responses to my comment, a simple “no problem” would have been enough.
Hanging up directly in someone’s face is simply rude and uncalled for, when I gave zero attitude to you. I debated on stopping in and placing my order in person, but you do not deserve even my small amount of money.
Try for a second to be a decent human being and treat a customer with the bare minimum of respect moving forward, it’s super easy.
I’m sure no one will care about this comment but if all I get is being hung up on, then you do deserve a bad review.

Sergio’s customer service has seriously declined! As a customer, I was appalled to witness a young woman behind the register treat an older customer with blatant disdain.
Myself and other patrons watched in disbelief and questioned whether we would ever return. This type of behavior is unacceptable and needs to be addressed immediately.. No longer a customer.

I order a pizza today and it was way past the time limit they supposed to have delivered it.the driver was very nice and apologize for it took so long ..I took the pizza paid him 25.and some change and was going to give a 3 dollar tip but cut it back to a dollar in some change pizza was cold never again..they should have given me a discount and a tip..

When I first found this place a few years ago I was so happy. As someone who grew up in NY it felt like the next best thing.
Unfortunately however the quality of the food has fallen off dramatically over the past year or two its basically unrecognizable.
The staff has always been friendly but I have oddly had the same negative experience the past two times I went were after placing my order and then paying they suddenly realize they do not have enough of what I have ordered and kinda twist your arm into getting something else. Which usually is some pizza that has been sitting out awhile.
Strangely they never offer to just make a fresh pie of whatever you originally asked for. It was like 7pm on a Sunday when I went in seems likely other patrons will come after me who want the same thing 🤔
The 2nd time it happened I kinda got fed up and asked for a refund but the guy at the counter just kept asking me if I wanted this or that, this or that. Felt like I was being manipulated into taking something I didn't want instead of just ya know giving me my money back, idk.
Ultimately, I ended up with 3 slices of stale pizza 2 of which I didn't really want in the first place. And I imagine I will not be back 🤷

As someone from New York City, I did not feel this was NOT authentic New York pizza.. Maybe it should be called New York style, but not authentic New York pizza.

Literally called and ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich with only lettuce tomatoes and mayo on it. Lo and behold they added ham to it for some dumb reason. I’ve tried calling the store 6 times and they don’t feel like answering. The pizzas we ordered (grandmas pizza, and regular cheese) had a sour and funny order to it. Do not recommend this pizza place. Stay away!!!!

My order was placed at 5:30 I was told 45 minutes I called back at 6:30 I was told if the pizza isn't there soon we won't charge you I get a call at 7:00 the delivery girl is in the wrong building she brings me the pizza 10 minutes later and it's cold I told her it's a cold pizza I don't want a cold pizza she said call the store I had already called the store at 6:30 and they told me there was anything wrong they would either fix it or give me back my money they lied they bring the pizza half of everything was to the one side like the pizza had slid and it was cold The crust was soggy instead of New York style crunchy this is one of the worst pizzas I've ever had $30 pizza cheese steak was dried out and it was only on half of the pizza they called me back 30 minutes later after we hit eight four of the pizzas slices that were not that good I called back the next day they tell me they'll call me the next day My payment still processing and then finally they just kept the $30 I will be reporting this to the to the food administration and their shop will be inspected if they're doing this to food I can imagine what the store looks like lies lies lies I'm 63 years old and cannot trust the pizza place across the street from my house do not eat here maybe dine and is better but delivery was terrible they call me back after four slices are gone and want me to take a picture of a pizza that's terrible so I took a picture They said the picture is not a good picture could I take another one I said just give me back my money they refused so now I'm going to go to my bank dispute the charges and I'm going to go downtown and they will receive an inspection I highly suggest to find a different pizza place Papa John's is better this was a $30 cheesesteak pizza ugh

I saw this place advertised on Facebook so I went and tried it. I had 2 slices and a drink. It was about 2 in the afternoon. The slices were so dry from sitting out all day. I guess if you buy freshly made it might be better. It's also 4.25 per slice for pizza that is not that great.

The food was bland, Pizza looked horrible. I ordered a large cheese pie. Used to be good, been there for years, the sauce has no flavor now. The pie was overcooked, and the crust was unedible. I paid $30 for one pie and a pepperoni roll, which also was terribly made. The service was okay. Nobody was smiling, nobody greeted anybody that walked through the door. The server grabbed my food right away, although put it on the counter in front of me, and proceeded to look at somebody else's order instead of ringing me up. Then the phone rang, and instead of telling the people on the other line to hold on, proceeded to take their order instead of bringing me up for my food. I might as well have thrown the money out the window or in the trash. It was a lot better when Pavone owned it.
