This restaurant used to be SO AMAZING! Now they don’t answer phones for you to place to go orders and the staff is not as welcoming as they used to be. Disappointed to say the least cause the food is good but you can’t get any because they don’t answer the like and they close super early. The worse part is when you go in it’s empty so I don’t get it! Do better Shaba shabu!

Do not sit in a large table with other that aren't getting sushi. If the table isn't on one bill then you don't get to do the BOGO sushi.

This was a fantastic experience. My wife and I had a late lunch and ate off the dinner menu for the first time. The food was so delicious!

So it’s been a minute since I’ve eaten here and way back when it was the jam but today it was devastatingly disappointing. It smelled like old bleach mop water when we walked in and the food was sad. Service was as good as it could be in such a dystopian atmosphere.

Always a treat, manager is always welcoming with a smile and warm greeting. Food is our absolute favorite in the area. From Japanese options to sushi, they have it all. Make sure you try the fried ice cream and coconut cake!

Food was decent, but our service wasn’t the best. Not a word spoken to us upon arrival. Who I assume was the manager was on the phone and didn’t acknowledge us. A waiter came up, grabbed some menus and led us to our table - and wasn’t super friendly. Weird atmosphere and the table was sticky due to peeling paint. Like I said, the sushi wasn’t bad, but they also “over tip” with their electronic pay - said 20% on our $40 bill was $14 and we didn’t notice. Also, noticed the 90.5 sanitation rating when we walked out - I guess that’s on us. Won’t be coming back.

The food was decent but fried too crunchy. We waited while our server stood there talking to another waitress while we tried to flag her down and make eye contact. The food came out faster than the server took to acknowledge us. The restaurant was beautiful and the owner was incredibly friendly. Probably wont be back

A long-standing staple just north of downtown Rakeigh, some of the best Thai and sushi in the area. So many great choices, and affordable prices. Owner Peter is an amazing and kind soul.

The food is quite good, but the service was unfortunately quite poor. The staff was extremely disorganized resulting in it taking an unreasonable amount of waiting (to order, receive drinks/food). My partner’s entire meal was completely forgotten by the waiter which was only realized when they finally brought out the rest of our food. Another thirty minutes of waiting and the food that was finally brought out was incorrect.

Would only recommend takeout, if anything.

Went on a busy day they were so short-staffed staffed but they did their best. The food is always good, I go for lunch a lot and the specials are really reasonable.
