crab rangoons had barely any filling in them and the pork friend rice was 70% pork bits 30% rice. do not recommend!

Good food and quick delivery to my airbnb. It was nice that they included an eggroll without me even asking for it. The chicken was moist and tender, and the sweet-and-sour sauce was yummy. Everything was just fine! The DoorDasher was very nice, too.

The very 1st time I ordered the food was great. Fresh. Excellent. But the following few times were worse each time. I wanted to love it but so long Shanghai Express.

I ordered from door dash and the food is so good I usually don't leave reviews but this place needs a higher rating cause it's so yum-

My Glorious Shanghai, you make my toes curl in excitement every time gobble that chicken down my gullet. You are the only thing that keeps me sane. If there are a million Shanghai I am one of them. If there are a thousand Shanghai fans I am one of them. If there are no Shanghai fans, I am dead.

They must have skipped the first 15 mins of a 20 minute “how to make fried rice” YouTube tutorial.

Shanghai, Shanghai, Shanghai. Boy do I love this place. From the comforting customer experience to the wonderful food and environment provided, this place makes me want to curl my toes and scream with joy. I love this place so much, and it's without a doubt the best Asian cuisine in Raleigh! Simply

This place is so nasty, its friend rice is dry, their spicy food is sweet might as well have ice cream instead. They are also microwaved food and they have no fresh food. The wait is really long. Id rather eat my own shit. Never had such shitty food, i despise this place and recommend never to go.

I've bought here for years. Enjoy the food at times. But it makes no sense to have a store open on the biggest NC State street and have the person answering the phone not understand or speak English .

This place was pretty good! I've eaten here a few times, but the restaurant was pretty empty around lunch time and didn't have many places to sit.Parking: Free street parking after 5

The food is okay, certainly not great. But the real problem is, I went there in person a few times and the building is not sanitary. Also the juices soak through the boxes they put them in, which is inconvenient.

When you order out Chinese food, you don't always expect the most authentic preparation or presentation, but some general consistency is a fair assumption. Shanghai express not only delivered our food HOURS late with no explanation, the food was also inconsistent with any other Chinese place I've ever been to. We ordered the beef lo mein (honestly would've preferred ramen noodles from a package), the pork fried rice (99.9999% sure they just gave us brown rice), the general tso's chicken (so soggy and spongey we weren't even sure what it was at first) and the honey chicken (edible for about 5 minutes before your stomach start kicking you). We were disappointed to say the very least. Do yourself a favor and find food elsewhere.
