The island berry lemonade, Mac and cheese, and green beans were next level good. I regret not trying one of the shakes as I am sure it is great as well. The brisket and chicken were good as well..not the best I’ve ever had but better than most. I really wanted to try burnt ends or ribs but they were not offered that day.

The front staff was very welcoming and showed care with all the customers and although very busy was striving to ensure everyone felt taken...

Chose to try this spot on a Saturday afternoon from a recommendation by our good friends. Shared several menu items, including, wings, pork BBQ, pork belly bites, and double brisket burger. Our favorite was the double brisket burger, hands down, and reason for the 5 rating. We would definitely return for the burger.

I don't have the time or talent to put love and flavor into smoked meats on my own. So this place is doing myself and Wake Forest a favor by placing this gem of a bbq staple on the dinner table 👏. My gawd it's delicious.
