⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Coffee & Friendly Atmosphere!

I stopped by Smooth Joe Coffee and had a really good experience! The place is clean, well organized, and has a nice, welcoming vibe. The staff was super friendly and made me feel right at home.

As for the coffee delicious! You can tell they use quality beans, and my drink was made just right. I’ll definitely be coming back for more.

The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that I think there’s still a little room for improvement (maybe few more pastry options?), but overall, it’s a great spot. Looking forward to my next visit!

I came here with the intentions of staying and working for a few hours. I ordered food and a hot chocolate because it was a nice cold day.

The hot cocoa came out impressive in a Ceramic mug, and after a few minutes of letting it cool down, I found out that it was mostly foam, and it was cold from all of the foam.

Way too much foam. I left after about 20 minutes. The pictures are when I got the coffee and two minutes after I got the coffee. Basically deflated.

Not sure if I would return

Amazing place - atmosphere, drinks, food, people! I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to just be and while away a morning or afternoon over drinks, food, and company. (Try the chicken salad)!

I called and asked if there was any fresh coffee in stock and the lady on the phone said yes. I drove there and they have a total of 4 bags of fresh coffee with flavors that did not sound good I wish the lady on the phone would have told me they only had 4 bags before I drove out there. That was my first and last visit here.

I'm 17 and a freshman in college at Wake Tech. Because of this, I don't have much spare money to spend on coffee. I was having a horrible day and I decided to go to Smooth Joe because I saw they sold 3$ coffees and I wanted to cheer myself up. I always keep spare change in my backpack and I had just enough. I walked in the pouring rain and upon entering counted my coins to double check. I spoke to the kindest older woman at the counter who did not mind I was paying in coins and we cracked a few jokes about what it's like being a broke college student. At the end of the conversation, she told me she upgraded my order for free and I have never felt so much love from an establishment before. It was such a small thing to do, but it seriously made my week. This was my first time going here and you can tell they treat all customers as apart of their family. Not only this, but it was some of the best coffee I've ever had. Thank you so much to the staff of Smooth Joe!!

Needed a place to work from for a couple weeks while in town. I have nothing bad to say! Things to note:
- Service - Everyone is super friendly.
- Coffee - I only ordered the drip but it was nice. Not too weak or too strong.
- Webernets - Wifi is super fast.
- Food - They have dairy free/gluten free options. I'm pretty sure the dairy free is vegan, but not 100 on that. The bundt cakes are fire. They had a variety of flavors each week. They also have gf/df donut sammys w/ frosting in the middle.
- Seating - Can get busy during peak times, but there is plenty of outdoor seating.
- Bathrooms - Clean!
- Parking - Plenty.

I was excited to try out this place as it looks very appething from the street. It was very nice and clean on the inside as well. Of course, the most important thing is how good is their coffee. I ordered a vanilla latte. It lacked a coffee flavor that I am accustomed to add other coffee shops. The vanilla flavoring had a peculier taste to it. As impressed as I was with the location and interior decor, the coffee fell short for me.
