The food was very good and reasonably priced. However, the service was off. The night we went was a busy Saturday night but the drinks took an unreasonably long time. I thought getting a glass of wine for a 2nd drink might be quicker than a cocktail but it took 20-30 minutes. When I asked about it our waitress asked who took the order for the wine and I told her “you did”. This was the first time any of us had been there so not sure if this is typical.
Went here with my partner earlier tonight, we were served by Danny, he provided one of the best dining experiences eating at a restaurant either of us have ever had. The food itself was absolutely phenomenal and the pricing was justified with how fresh the ingredients were. We will absolutely come back, thank you to Danny and the chefs for helping create such an amazing night for us.

11/10. Would give it 6 stars if I could. Donny was our server, he's incredibly passionate about his job and customer service. As someone from NJ, it's hard to find a restaurant that matches expectations and this one went above and beyond.

I used to live in Raleigh, and would treat myself to Sono at least once every month or 2, or its sister restaurant, Mura (RIP). I’ve moved away, and I still dream of the Screaming O rolls. Yesterday I was in Raleigh, and stopped back to get my fix. The food was delicious, but more than that, I’d love to shout out my server, Andrea. I believe she was also the bartender at the time. She was the most genuinely friendly server I’ve had in as long as I can remember. She absolutely made that visit a 10/10.

Anna and Andrew really made me feel welcomed, and made absolutely certain I was happy, definitely worth the visit if you enjoy very fresh sushi and authentic Japanese cuisine!
UBER EATS BECAUSE SO DO I. Got that minimum order in for a coupon to work and did buy one free. Have to get that buy one get one free when it's offered. Takes me to a simpler time. Far before this one, or possibly remembered because of it. Anyhow, buy one get one free sushi is a hard thing to pass up.

Highly recommend this sushi spot. Food took a little longer than expected but it was delicious and worth the wait. I would also recommend making reservations for peak hours, I went Saturday evening but was able to sit with my friends at the bar. It is a on the pricey side but it is definitely worth it. Also try the Dragon God Ginjo sake. It was amazing
