Raw oysters and cocktails, what could be better?
Love this place
Wonderful New Orleans food! Super tasty and the best I've had out of New Orleans
We recommend the gumbo, shrimp, and beignets. The service is friendly and super informative.

Amazing spot in downtown Raleigh with a wide selection of raw fresh oysters! Also they offer a twist on Rockefeller that is completely amazing! Variety of options that will not disappoint. Excellent service and excellent staff! Looking forward to going back.

Brunch at St. Roch was a delightful experience from start to finish. I loved the seating arrangement, surrounded by windows that let in plenty of natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The music was just the right vibe—perfect for a leisurely meal.
My server was incredibly attentive and prompt, ensuring I had everything I needed without feeling rushed. The “sinner” rolls were simply divine; I had to restrain myself from devouring the entire plate to save room for my main dish!
I ordered the BBQ shrimp and grits, accompanied by a side of heirloom tomatoes. The coconut curry sauce was a unique twist that I absolutely loved; the flavors blended beautifully and added a refreshing touch to the dish.
Of course, I couldn’t resist getting some beignets to go. Even after a few hours, they still tasted fresh, and the accompanying sauce was the perfect pairing.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my brunch at St. Roch and can't wait to return to try more of their delicious dishes. Highly recommended!

Great spot. Went for our anniversary dinner. A bit on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. Very unique dishes but delicious and filling. Would definitely recommend trying and we will be going back.

Beautiful restaurant. Low lighting. Our server Dakota was friendly and a great server. I ordered flamed oysters as an appetizer. They were delicious. Bbq shrimp and grits was my entree, this was disappointing. More like soup, I ended up picking the shrimp out with a fork and trying to push the sauce to the side to find the grits. The flavor was not bad, just way too much sauce.
Note: If you have a large party, they only allow one bill. Thats fine, but they should at least break it down to show what each person ordered/taxes, etc. We were a party of 8 and had to sit and calculate each persons portion of the bill, plus tax and the service fee.

Wonderful seafood and service! Our friend got the unofficial record for most oysters (100), in one sitting, lol.

Went for brunch and the food was tasty! Very different from what you typically find in this area. The decor is great, makes you feel like you’re in New Orleans. However, the service was painfully slow for us (only a party of 2). We sat down around 12:30, didn’t get our drink orders until 1:30, appetizers came around 2:00, and then another long wait for the main course. It wouldn’t have been so terrible if our server was attentive, but we saw several other tables be seated, eat apps and main course before we even got our appetizers. Regardless, I would still recommend trying it out!

Excellent food. Sat at the bar and maybe got a little bit forgotten about? The guy shucking the oysters was amazing.
