I regularly visit this Starbucks before my classes. I always get a pink drink with light ice and no strawberries. I have never had any issues until recently. Thursday when I went, a young woman with an alternative style was handing me and my friend’s drinks. We were doing separate payments and also scanning our starbucks apps. When we would ask a question she seemed very annoyed and just gave us a stare with her eyes wide open like we were crazy. And on Wednesday, i got my usual drink. A different lady handed me my drink. It had strawberries in it. No problem. I just reminded her i didn’t want strawberries and asked to remake the drink. She handed me my drink back and it was very obviously strained. She seemed so annoyed that I even sent it back in the first place so I didn’t even bother asking her to remake it. I wish that the employees were more accommodating and kinder. I hope my experiences at this location are better in the future.

All of all the times I’ve came here I didn’t like how you made my coffee except one time. Today the young lady says we make your coffee. But latter at the end she said I could get the syrup and the side and cream from lobby. Why in the hell haven’t I been told this over the years? I’ll be happy when Dutch Brothers gets here! We like them MUCH better.

I stopped in this afternoon to finish up some work and have never experienced such unprofessionalism. I have witnessed one barista loudly use profanity over and over, speak about co workers negatively with customers and minors very much present. The barista just went to the back to take a personal call and everyone has listened to her scream on the phone for 15 minutes. Management where are you?

The workers are kind however you can’t expect to be in and out quickly. More often than not, I end up with a drink with a bad/burnt espresso shot too.

Writing this as I wait 15 minutes in the drive through at 1pm…. They take so long! And it’s not just today, they consistently take too long. Staff isn’t friendly either.

Customer service here has gotten sooooo bad! I stopped by today after a while for a refresher on my way home, I asked for light water like (always) I get to the window lady there was rude, too busy talking to a co worker to even acknowledge me sitting at the window trying to pay, when she finally turns she rolls her eyes ??? Excuse me, for bothering you like you are paying for my order geeeezzz..... I take my first sip at the stop light literally a minute away I realize it's ALL water with a bit of base...

The service at the Albemarle,NC store is horrible. I have had 2 bad experiences there. I won't be back for a third one.
I wouldn't come to this Starbucks again if I was paid to! The customer service was cow chips!! They ignored me standing waiting to order for 5 minutes. No one said can I help you,do you have a pick up order and the "Token" there should have been the most welcoming. Not for me.

I just had a drip pour coffee and I was waiting excessively when I finally approached the counter because I saw them turning out Uber order drinks and I am physically present waiting for just a drip pour while they’re making Frappuccino‘s for people that aren’t even there and the timestamps are after my order. Only for them to pour out my drink that’s been sitting there and come up and say oh we’re out of Sumatra would you like something else? I commented “so you saw me just standing there waiting and waiting and waiting this whole time only to now tell me that? How long would I have waited in an empty store for them to tell me they can’t make my drink ? Then had a smart comment. Well I had other drinks to make, and telling me to have a good day, but in a way that you know is condescending. There were just as many staff as there wet customers in the building and none were waiting for drinks except me. Why couldn’t three people make a drip pour coffee at the push of a button? Please train your staff.
This particular Starbucks always has a very efficient drive thru service. There are far too many times though inside especially in the ordering area this isn't kept up with. I love to get a coffee and sit and read etc but not here unless it is warm enough to be outside because the unkempt areas are not inviting and more annoying is they are so busy and have so many employees you would think they could just assign someone to make a clean through.

Go somewhere else if you're ordering between 5-6AM. It's happened multiple times now where I order through the app but the store is "closed". You can see employees inside but they will ignore you even if they hear/see you. At least have the courtesy of explaining the situation, and maybe try to get the order transferred to another store rather than acting like you're a ghost.
