No longer a Steak n Shake - they are now called Shawn's Shack, but with much of the same Steak n Shake decorations/regalia (and moreover - only a paper menu taped up that is covering the Steak n Shake drive-thru menu). I did not try the food because I was coming far out of my way specifically for Steak n Shake, but I will note that there was less of a selection and much higher prices for similar items.

Great, great burgers!! Fries were good too. They was out of avocado for my burger \\u0026 the manager substituted it for the BBQ texas burger without any issues. He cooked it to perfection! It was delicious!!

The sourdough burger is one of the best burgers I’ve had in general. Great food and great staff definitely a place worth coming back.

When I went they were understaffed it seemed but you can tell by the food they cared. Very delicious, best burgers in town! Might I mention the birthday cake shake taste just like a birthday cake !!! I could have continued eating after I was full because once I started I couldn’t stop.

Shawn’s Shack was surprisingly open after coming from school one night, restaurants have lately fell off in the “fresh” department in the evenings so I asked will my burger be fresh…not only was it fresh, the burger was juicy, 3-different kind of fries and I went back last night just to make sure it wasn’t a fluke……. Still delicious, juicy and Fresh. Good job and thank you, from me and my son.

As others have said, this is no longer a Steak n Shake, but seems to have some holdovers from when it was. You can still get steak burgers and milkshakes, although the fries have changed. Most significantly, the prices are MUCH higher than they were under the Steak n Shake name, but neither the food quantity/quality nor the service have improved at all.

Rarely am I surprised by a fast food restaurant... My son suggested this place and they have amazing food. Went to five guys yesterday and Shawn shack is so much better. I got the Royal burger with an egg very juicy and Delicious... Hot dogs and fries were great too
I've come here 3 times since I moved here and each burger I tried has been fantastic. Had the Carolinian, Garlic and Californian. So far my favorite is the Californian because I love spicy burgers. Also my kids love the creative shakes.

Shawn's shack is a downgrade from steak n shake. Staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. Burger was still pretty good. Didn't have some menu items. Really miss steak n shake's fries, Shawn's are below average. It seems like you would want your staff to give good service at a 'new' restaurant but it felt more like they are hoping the place will shut down if their service is bad enough. I know I'm not going back.

Hamburger was ok...slightly cold. The shake yummy and the fries too cold to be edible...and I was hungry. Won't try them again. I'd recommend somewhere else for sure!

This is NOT a steak and shake - ITS BETTER! Sean's Shack (the new name of this location) has better food, quality ingredients, better and more efficient customer service.

It’s no longer a steak ‘n shake.....all the signs are covered up & it’s super dingy. Don’t bother.....food was awful. We threw all the food out.
