My wife and I thought we would go to Sullivan’s on Christmas Eve. I was a little hesitant because of the mixed reviews. We had reservations and were promptly seated at a table for two. The wine was excellent and it was the house red and white. The service excellent in every way. Timely, professional , knowledgeable, and joyous. Our steaks were done to perfection. This was a great experience and we will return. Oh, the ambiance is great very quiet, low key, dimly lit and romantic. Cristina was our server and she is great.

The food was amazing and Shannon was exceptional! Definitely would recommend and be returning.

Too loud and too many tables crammed in next to each other. Even the wait staff couldn't get though the floor without turning side ways and sucking in their stomachs and standing on tippy toes. Not a good vibe. And the short rib on the holiday menu was dry and no sauce or gravy served with it as the menu makes it seem.

It saddens me to say this is no longer my go to special occasion restaurant. While the steaks are perfectly cooked and seasoned - they are just too expensive! $65-100 per steak with NO SIDES. All sides are al la carte at $15+ per side. So, by the time you get sides and drinks, your dinner costs as much as a new car payment. This visit it took almost 30 minutes to get a before dinner drink. The "birthday desert" was a chocolate hockey puck with a golf ball of ice cream on top. The key lime pie was a pitiful 1 inch slice. The one good thing as that the lobster bisque was great. We came for a 4PM early dinner, so you would expect the service to be outstanding - but it was not.

Valet was full so we had to pay to park - but by the time we came around to the restaurant they were taking cars again. They ran out of few things we wanted by the time we were ready to order. A little disappointing although it was still a nice night.

Sometimes you come across a person who not only provides outstanding service but truly represents the heart of the establishment they work for. In this case, I had the pleasure of being taken care of by Cierra at Sullivan’s Steakhouse in Raleigh, North Carolina. The food was spectacular, as you’d expect from a restaurant of this caliber—but what really made the evening exceptional was the service. Cierra’s positive attitude, energetic personality, and impressive knowledge of every menu item were both refreshing and enjoyable. A big thank you to the team at Sullivan’s for hiring and retaining such a remarkable employee who embodies great service and enhances an already fantastic dining experience.

This was our first time at Sullivans from the ambience, to the food and service everything was perfect.

Awesome food and service! Entire team is friendly. Best place to grab a steak and cocktail!

Very inconsistent restaurant. Sometimes I get excellent food, sometimes not. Last visit was the best stake ever, this visit it was cold. Tuna was very salty. Don't know what's the story here, but for the $$$$ they charge this is not acceptable.

First the good news.. we very much enjoyed our meal. Thanks, Wes, for the great service. A classic looking steakhouse. Wood paneling, crowds of fellow carnivores. My veggies (spinach, asparagus) were first rate, and generous portions. The creme brulee a good as we've had anywhere. Now the bad news.. I was disappointed in the quality of my New York Strip. At these prices we should be able to expect first rate meat. Mine was thin (perhaps 0.5 - 0 75"), with more fat and gristle than I normally expect in a NYS. Of my 12 ounce serving, 2 ounces were uneaten trimmings. She reports her filet was marvelous. Ditto her mushrooms and baked potato. Would we go back? Yes, of course. But it will be for the overall experience, not for the steak.

Whiskey pairing dinner was a perfect date night! gave us an opportunity to sample great food and a new brand of whiskey. Enjoyed every minute.

Excellent Delmonico steak cooked as ordered. Luncheon menu was not presented until requested. As the meal prices are much increased on the regular menu, when lunch is available it should not be a secret. Otherwise, service was good. Noticed that the 3 items for the business luncheon does not include dessert now. Also, birthday bonus dessert used to be cheesecake but now just a large chocolate muffin with a candle.

If you put that you're on a date, they'll cover your table with rose petals and give you a rose to give to your date... unexpected but so awesome!!

High end restaurant. Low end service. Had to ask three times over 20 minutes where the bottle of wine was that was ordered. This was just one example. They continued.
