Every Tuesday we go out for a nice dinner, we have always skipped this place because it's a chain. We went, we regret it. We were sat at 7p, at 725 I still didn't have water. When I was finally able to flag down a water person it was another 10 minutes till I could get a waiters attention, Grayson ( thanks Grayson!) He FINALLY took our order, but passed us off to Logan. My drink order arrived , it was wrong. Logan corrected it. We got bread at the same time as our appetizer. We had the deviled eggs with caviar (mid), French onion soup( lots of cheese, very good), beef Wellington bites were ok, but not what I expected, the meat was well done and shredded. We had the Tomahawk Ribeye rare as our main course with a potato, so simple. It came out ICE cold in the center, and they don't slice it for you. Our waiter had it to take it back.I hate being that person. When it came back I was full from eating bread, we had a few bites and it was flavorful, but damn, and we still had no potato! We asked for the steak to be boxed and the potato arrived. Dang y'all, this was an awful experience. No one from management came by to address anything. They did comp the potato though.
This is our second visit to Sullivans. Drinks are phenomenal! Very tasty steaks and sides. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Appreciate the help navigating food allergies for one member of our party. We will probably be frequent flyers here!
Amazing service and excellent food. Our server was very knowledgeable about the cocktails and menu. Gave recommendations that were spot on! Knew we were celebrating an early birthday and travel abroad for a year celebration.
Ricky our waiter was off the charts Great!!!!! Ricky is the reason I will return and the food was wonderful!! Thank you Ricky for making my wife's Birthday very special!!!!
Our steak was terrible and chewy and very fat. The potato was ice cold- like had been in a refrigerator- cold and after asking for them to microwave they brought us another one that was also cold even though we did not ask for one. We ended up wasting two rather than one because all they had to do was heat it up. The tuna was frozen in the middle - and the only thing that was delicious was the wedge salad and bread. The carrot cake (literally an entire cake) was also good. For two people it was 485 dollars. That's two glasses of wine and a martini, one appetizer, two entrees, two salads and a cake. Everything was not good except the salads really. The drink was weak. Do not eat here. Raleigh has gobs of great restaurants. This is not one of them. But! Our server was lovely.
Steaks we're perfectly prepared and the brussel sprouts and potato sides were delicious. We were celebrating a birthday and the attention and recognition was appreciated. Excellent dinner.
We typically love this place—it's our favorite. BUT, they “lost our order”... then, after waiting 2 hours, and asking where our food was many times along the way, we received our steaks: we sent both back for being undercooked. When they arrived again, one was great, the other was super rubbery (both were fillets). We sent the rubbery one back. They comped the meal, but—to be honest—I wouldn't go back anytime soon unless they proved to me that they'd do better next time. Total waste of our time, and it pains me to say this because this was our favorite steakhouse in Raleigh.
Sullivan's was the perfect ending to my birthday weekend celebration. Not only did they have a birthday card on the table, but also a beautiful long stem red rose. Our server was attentive but not overbearing and wonderfully engaging. The food was great and plentiful. This was our first time there, but it won't be the last! Kudos to all for everything!
Service was top notched, I had a wonderful overall experience. I ordered the Cajun Ribeye, it was tender and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants to enjoy fine dining, with a wonderful atmosphere.
We have been dining here for years and always have been so pleased with our service and our meals. Tonight however was a different story. Our steaks were not what we ordered and they were cold. Our food also took forever to get served. This was very disappointing as it was our anniversary and not to mention one of our favorite spots to have dinner. We will not be back

We have always loved going to Sullivans. Tonight was our anniversary and we had been looking forward to going. However, it seemed to be taking forever to get our dinner . It took almost an hour, when it arrived , it was incorrect. We had ordered NY strips but we were served Filets and they were cold. The server tried to tell us they were strips. Clearly there is a difference. The manager stopped by and said they were indeed filets. He did offer to have our ordered corrected but honestly at that point we were kinda over it. My husband ate his because he was starving. If you going to pay 300.00 for dinner, you at least want to get what you ordered. We were extremely disappointed and left hungry.
Service and food was excellent! Our server was very warm and personable. Great experience!
It was a busy night so service was a bit slow. Grilled oysters came out before oysters on half shell - because as we were told, they were making cocktail sauce.
Been to this location many times. Always a great place to go with company. Great drinks & AMAZING FOOD. Our server Luke was such a gentleman and was able to recommend some great options we had never tried before. Overall 5+ stars.
Soup has to be returned...inedible. Spinach very salty, masked potatoes side size of a small ice cream scoop
