Ordered sushi to go from here a few weeks ago. We ordered 12 rolls, when we got home we only had 8. It was clear they did not hand us a bag and it probably ended up with another customer. We called and they said they would refund the 4 missing rolls but never did. Poor customer service so beware if ordering pick up.

When closing out for tip the suggested 18%,20%,22% are actual 40%,42%,44%. I have no issue tipping but that’s sleezy business practice.

I took my family here Sunday evening after loving the food with friends only a few weeks before. The service on my previous visit was mediocre (restaurant was busy) but the sushi was amazing. This go round, the service was slightly better as the place was almost empty but the sushi was really gross. It looked and tasted stale like it had been pre-made and then stored waiting to be ordered. I ordered the same two rolls as my previous visit - the Steven Tyler and the Galifianakis - and the Galifianakis especially seemed old and was inedible. I didn't remember the shrimp temupra on the Steven Tyler being served cold the first time but it was definitely cold this time as if the whole thing had been prepared and then stuck in a refrigerator. Even the spicy mayo was almost all gone and soaked away somehow. I won't be back any time soon and regret that this was my family's only experience with the restaurant. Note to self - don't go here on a Sunday night maybe? Skeleton crew and unloading premade sushi that's been waiting for customers was my impression.

We have been going to Sushi Blues for a long time! One of our family favorites! Sushi is delicious and a good value. They have one of the best selections of vegetarian sushi rolls in the triangle, if not THE best! The other dishes are good, too. I love their tempura and teriyaki.

There were four of us - all girls, had a reservation for my birthday btw. We walked in and waited 10 minutes at the hostess stand to be seated with a completely empty restaurant, finally a customer saw us and told us to just sit down and he gave us a menu too. A waiter finally came up didnt apologize or anything for the wait to just be seated. He gave us water and took our drink order. He never gave us any other menus, so four people were sharing one menu. We got our drinks and then he left again for about 15 minutes, we finally ordered our food and it came out quick thank god but then he left AGAIN when we were trying to pay the bill. We literally had to get up and FIND HIM. So yah no awful birthday dinner. Not one single apology from anyone, and for customers to be helping instead of the actual workers is crazy.

We love coming to Sushi Blues. They have a lot of various rolls that taste great; their service is friendly and attentive, as well. On the weekends it can be a little loud, so I prefer going during the week, but still, I'd recommend it overall.

Me and my husband decided to try this place for the first time tonight, and unfortunately our server (her name was Cali or Callie) gave us one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. She was walking around the restaurant with her stomach exposed in a way that felt completely unprofessional for a place like this. It wasn’t a good look, and it honestly made the whole experience uncomfortable.

There was also a very strong, unpleasant smell around her every time she came to the table. It reminded me of a all boys highschool locker room mixed with a heavy marijuana odor. It wasn’t something you want to smell during dinner. Her eyes looked tired and barely open, and overall she just didn’t seem present or focused.

On top of all of that, her tone wasn’t friendly, and she didn’t check on us regularly at all. Thankfully, other servers stepped in and helped us because she definitely wasn’t.

Let’s just say we won’t be coming back.

Very cool jazz clubs vibes. BOGO sushi is the best! They have beer specials featuring $5 Kona big wave. I miss the Etta James roll but they have a similar one! They also have a full bar and sake selection- the warm ones always taste a little sour to me but I love the mango one. They also validate parking for a nearby lot (behind the Irish bar I think)

Had reservations - (5:15pm) on a Friday evening - almost no one in the restaurant. The hostess proceeded to sit us behind the only POST in the outdoor seating area. Seemed inconvenient that we didn't want to sit looking at a concrete post when many tables were available with a view. Waiter was kind but seemed to take awhile to even get a cocktail. Cocktails weee served in the same simple, plain glasses water is served in. You would think that signature cocktails would come in nice glassware. Chose 4 rolls - waiter said they were a great selection for overall options. All 4 of the rolls were as plain as plain can be. Not tasty, the soft shell crab was the worse. I think the BOGO side might be taking away from quality and taste. The rice used for the rolls was more on a fried rose side with lots of sesame seeds. Hate this was a One and Done for my wife and I but not impressed or pleased at all. $86 later 1/2 our meal was left on the plate

Everything was super salty and soggy, asked for rice paper or soy paper not an option for the sushi The server was awesome, we didn't tell him about the food but he knew. Probably won't be back unless changes are made amd the food doesn't taste like a salt lick the egges were brown and the shrimp was soggy

BOGO rolls every day. Lots of unique specialty rolls at the best price in Raleigh. A great musical theme inside and has remained a personal tradition for over twenty years.

Servers were good and prompt. Food was slow. Tempura shrimp roll was a bit soggy. Tempura shrimp entree vegetables had far too much batter. One might say “stodgy”.
