Sushi Blues is always our go to for Sushi. The food is always top tier to us. The service last night was not what we are use to at all but we got through it. It was a nice cool night finally and we sat outside.

Underwhelming veggie rolls - the presentation seemed rush. The overall concept indicates the cafe is blues inspired (hence the name) - however, I was surprised to hear non-blues music being played there. I think that would've tied into the experience of the actual theme of the restaurant. Couldn't put my finger on the vibe overall. 🤔

Awesome BOGO value but that should have been an indicator that the quality of product was subpar and at time, uneatable. Service great and ambiance had a cool vibe. They no longer offer Kiran.

Best sushi I have ever had! And the service was top notch! Not to mention the BOGOs. My only sushi stop moving forward :)

Great for college students to get a lot of sushi at a good price. Quality, just ok. I'd rather pay a bit more and get a better meal.

Food is just ok. I mean, spicy tuna rolls are made with tuna and hot sauce (awful combo!) Seared salmon was overcooked and painfully dry. Good location if you're going out after. Our server was very nice.

I've been to Sushi Blues before and it's always a good experience. The staff is always kind and helpful and the atmosphere is conducive to conversation. The sushi is just ok. It feels like a place for those who want to try sushi but don't really like it.

The sushi was delicious , and the waiter was very nice. We didn't wait too long to order and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Sushi Blues was truly fantastic! The food and drinks were incredible and very affordable. Our server Willis was very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful when it came to suggestions as well. Will definitely be back here in the future!

What a disappointment! We made a reservation for 8 to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The table was cramped and uncomfortable, with hard wooden stools on one side and a booth-type seat on the other, so everyone had to slide out for someone to get up. We indicated the birthday both on the reservation and verbally to our server, though no acknowledgment was ever made (many places will sing or give you a freebie of some kind.) The server took half of the table's drink order and walked away, forgetting to ask for everyone else's. She brought no small plates for the appetizer, she didn't clear dirty dishes from the table, she forgot refills that were requested, and on and on. The non-sushi menu items we ordered were subpar. The food was not hot, and was over cooked and extremely salty. The tempura was overly greasy. I ordered a gin martini with olives, and it tasted like pure olive juice. Our server informed us at the beginning that at 20% gratuity would be added to the check due to the size of the party. When we got the check, the gratuity was over $80 for a $320 check. When we pointed out the error, we were told that the gratuity is calculated “before discounts.” (The sushi rolls are BOGO every day.) If you want some takeout sushi rolls, this place is fine, but it is not the place for a special occasion dinner with your family.

Sushi was made super fast and BOGO deals are a great value. I agree with the other reviews... the ginger tastes weird.

Sushi Blues is my boyfriend and I's favorite date night spot, and we make sure to come here almost every other week. The sushi is always incredible, and the service is consistently friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. With unbeatable prices and an overall amazing experience, Sushi Blues never disappoints and continues to be our go-to place for a perfect night out.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Sushi Blues! The pho, katsudon, and sushi were excellent.

Used to LOVE this place in college (2008ish). Had gone downhill. Atmosphere is worse, service is terrible. We had a reservation for a party of 5 and they would only seat us at a table barely big enough for 4. Not how it’s done, manager refused to do anything about it. Better places to go!

Atmosphere: 1

Service: 1
