Great sushi. Normally great service. Host on 3/29 wouldn’t seat us at an outdoor table (had the dogs) said they were all reserved, so we opted for takeout. We ended up eating at another location nearby. Numerous tables stayed unoccupied the entire time. Seems like host wasn’t very good. I hope this issue gets corrected because this is one of our favorite sushi spots

Came in for the first time with a group of 8 for a work lunch. I had heard a lot about this place and was looking forward to trying it.The reason for the 2 stars was the service. It took 45 minutes for the food to come out leaving us with 15 minutes to eat. Now I realize we had a group of 8, but we were the only ones in the restaurant. At noon, which should’ve been a warning.The food itself was lack luster. The sushi wasn’t bad but several other dishes came out cold.Sadly I don’t think many of us will be returning to Sushi Blues.

My fiancé and I have been coming here for years! And the food is always super good. I love the sweet home Alabama that has cooked chicken in it and they have the best spicy mayo in town. (Not too spicy) We love the variety of the sushi roll options and them being BOGO helps too. The atmosphere here is pretty good and we have always had great service every time we came.It is definitely busier downtown on the weekend so best to set a reservation and you will likely have to pay for parking. Unless you are fine walking a bit further to park in the free parking garage near by.Don’t forget to get your side of spicy mayo with your sushi! It’s not the same without it.

Ordered 2 rolls. 1 was fine, but the other came with lettuce inside of it? Like the lettuce leaf mix you can buy for salads, which didn't match the salmon roll I ordered. It was completely wilted, and the fish was not fresh either. Even the pickled ginger on the side was dry and old. Hoping this was a fluke, but I would not go back for the price

Definitely my favorite place in Raleigh to get sushi! It’s absolutely delicious and my husband and I frequently stop by. I did have a rough experience on Friday night when I stopped to get take out. Was quoted a 10 minute wait and didn’t get our food for a whole hour, asked to wait outside in the rain. Also didn’t realize the BOGO deal was only in person so the hour long take out was double the price. Was a bit of a bummer experience for the friend I’d brought who was a first timer. I’d highly recommend for a dine in experience but would definitely suggest not ever doing take out here.Dietary restrictions: I have celiac disease and they do have some great gf options!

First time here and received no service at all. Upon entering we were asked if we had a reservation but the restaurant was empty. Greeter chatted with someone in the back then seated us 5 minutes later. We were seated and waited 20 minutes with no one tending to us. No drinks were offered, another couple was seated and immediately received service. The waiter glanced out way but never made an effort to apologize or ask us if we needed anything. We were dressed for a concert and feel like we were not served properly because of this or potentially because we are Latino. Extremely disappointed especially this being my first time in Raleigh. You need to do better.

I went to this restaurant with some friends, first time. The restaurant was dead, they asked for a reservation, we sat and waited 20+ mins No ONE came to serve us not even water and they knew we were there, 20 mins after the sat down another couple they were served immediately the server looked at us waiting and still walked away. So we left. Can’t say anything about the food didn’t get to order.
Terrible service waiting for over 20 minutes no one came to and asked me if I was ready to order. The place was dead asked me if I had reservation and the place was empty. Then a couple after us and got serviced right away never again will I go back to that place!

I walked in without a reservation on a Thursday Afternoon. No one was in the restaurant and they looked at me like if i needed a reservation. Hostess guided us to the table, waited 20 mins without being talked too or looked at. Service was horrible. If you like being treated this way then this is your place! good luck!

This was my 5th time eating here and brought 3 friends of mine who had never been here before. There's a good reason why my wife and I like this place so much better than other sushi places in town. Variety and uniqueness are the top 2 though. All four of us got different rolls and everyone really enjoyed what they got. I really enjoy the rolls that have a little kick to them. And the everyday BOGO is also a big plus. So, head down Glenwood Ave and enjoy some great sushi.
