The Calamari and Crab wonton still taste like how it was the first time I had it, so good! And the Thai basil duck is so good as well I recommend it with Thai spice level! For dessert i had the toffee cake which is crazy good! It's been years since the last time I visited Sushi nine and I enjoyed every bit of it! Also great service from Devin!

It used to be that in person sushi was BOGO and online order/delivery was half off. However, now the only way to get it delivered is to order the rolls full price. A basic Philly roll alone is almost 15 dollars! Don’t see how this can be anything other than a money grab. Disappointed in this change and it’s no longer worth the quality of sushi you get anymore
I just picked up my online order. The site does not allow for a request of sauce on the side. I selected no eel sauce on my Spider Roll so that I could request it on the side. They drench it usually thus why. I literally had to pay an additional $.53 for the sauce that is included. Despite explaining their site has no place to request sauce on the side anymore.
As if being a loyal customer despite their poisoning hiccups and scandals isn't enough. Seriously paying extra for sauce that's included because of their inadequate site is the last straw! Sushi Nine is not worth it. I'll keep with Sushi Blues, Kaze and other establishments before coming here again.
I would usually rate the food 4 🌟 however my Spider had the seaweed outside and the crab was inedible.

My husband & I LOVE eating at Sushi Nine. We usually stop in for a date night whenever we’re traveling to the Raleigh/Durham area. Unfortunately, during this date, we had an exceptionally rude waiter. I understand that we entered the restaurant at 9p however they close at 9:45p, all I ask for is good food and better service.
While my husband and I were eating dinner,
our waiter, Drake reached over our food multiple times to grab various items off the table while we were still using them in order to help him get done with his shift faster. He then came over to collect our dinner plates before my husband was able to finish his dinner without even asking if he was finished.
In the end, either go to Sushi Nine early, or order takeout after 8:30 because there is nothing more unsettling than having to eat dinner while your waiter is rushing you.

Came here for the first time this evening. Ordered the drunken noodles, which were pretty decent. However, the AC seemed to be off or broken and it was super warm inside the restaurant. Also waited about 40 minutes for our food.

Best sushi and atmosphere in America! I moved from the area 7 years ago and travel away from home regularly. I've been searching for somewhere comparable everywhere to no avail. I'm driving through today and will be making a special stop just because!

This is my favorite restaurant in Raleigh. The food is always good, and always worth the wait. I have never had anything here I don't like. Their bogo sushi rolls are such a good deal, and allows me to try new things every time I go.
