Wait time was a bit long for the food to come out but I got the Deluxe Sushi Lunch platter. It was reasonably priced but high quality - I enjoyed every bite. Be warned the wasabi here is not diluted like most American sushi restaurants so if you're a wasabi lover like me, be careful!

Ciera with Offline - Service was thorough and drinks were good. Came in for lunch special and got two rolls of sushi for $22. I got the Bam Bam and the Black Widow without avocado. Both rolls were very delicious and filling. For my drink I had the Violet Lychee and it was sooo good and slightly sour. No overly sweetness which I despise.

The food was AMAZING. We found the gem by accident and have been back. I think it will become our regular hibachi spot. The flavor was unmatched.

Laura with Offline - The sushi was plated beautifully but it could have been better. Excellent fish, but the rice texture was off and the flavor mix wasn't just right. Really nice ambiance in the restaurant though and delicious drinks.

Didn't know they had a brunch menu. I had the sushi burger and my wife had the sushi Benedict. Loved it.

Emily with Offline - SO DELICIOUS! We have never been to Sushi One, but the plaza this restaurant is in is so scenic and beautiful, and we were blown away by the food. The staff was cheery and welcoming as well. We will definitely return for a future anniversary meal!

Marianne with Offline - The sushi was delicious and the server was great…but we waited a full hour between our appetizer and our sushi on a night when the restaurant wasn’t very busy, minus a larger party and we were there on the early side! I seriously think they had one person making sushi and that was clearly not enough for that evening. We’ll come back because it’s good but I hope the management can put more people in the kitchen on a Friday night going forward. Stuff happens and I get that, but I wouldn’t want that to happen on the regular!

All 5 of us contracted Norovirus/Food poisoning here on March 7. We had a 6 PM reservation. Unfortunately, management has not acknowledged our calls or voicemails. Please be aware.
UPDATE: Their response contradicts what they have emailed us. They asked for verification details of the reservation name, time, hospital note, and our order. They confirmed our order in the POS system and "confirmed our reservation through camera footage" but have now ghosted us, saying we didn't provide enough information but won't tell us what additional information is needed. They also plated all of our rolls wrong so their solution was to bring out a bunch of extra plates and rearrange all of our rolls on an open table and moved them around in front of us with their hands. They have denied any refunds. The health department is performing an inspection today 3/14.
UPDATE 3/18: They never asked for a note endorsed from my provider, which I have, but Sushi One stopped responding to our emails when we asked what additional information was needed. We also received a copy of the report from the Health Department and your claims are not accurate- there was food that was handled improperly and there were a couple items you "voluntarily discarded" per the report from the Health Department.
This experience has been enlightening as your public responses do not match your private responses and you are not transparent with your community on what the Health Department noted.

You’re joking.

This is in response to the management’s response to my friend’s review. We have been in email correspondence with them for a few days now. And now that my GI system has calmed down, I’m pretty upset with this restaurant’s tone. Are you honestly gaslighting our party into saying we couldn’t possibly have dined there? The reservation was originally for 6 guests under the name Maria Duncan. One of us could not make it, so there ended up being 5 of us. We have provided receipts, we have provided EXACTLY what we ordered and at what times. We have even provided documentation that we got sick— one of us to the point where she had to be seen and treated in the ER.

All of us contracted norovirus from this location. To say that there’s zero possibility that we contracted it here when ALL of us got it boggles my mind.

By the way, I travelled an hour and 30 minutes to come see these girls and have dinner here. I travelled straight to the restaurant, had dinner, and travelled straight back home and was sick about 10-12 hours later. The audacity to say that we couldn’t have all gotten it when it’s the only place we have all been together is beyond reprehensible. You have the receipt that shows we all dined there and what we had.

Did you check security cameras to see if your staff is conducting their hygiene practices to standard? Because they can’t possibly be. Do you have cameras in the kitchen? Because our orders were all sorts of messed up when they came out. There were multiple different orders of sushi on the same plate which had to be brought back to the kitchen and separated onto different plates and returned to us. SO many hands touched our food. How many of them washed their hands between touching our dishes? Can you tell me that from your security footage? I wasn’t upset until just now when you tried to call us liars when we spent days unable to eat, drink, or stop vomiting/defecating. This is unacceptable and you should be ashamed of yourself.

Atmosphere was impressive, the restaurant was clean and interesting. The servers were prompt, friendly and engaging. Menu choices were enticing~ many healthy options! We enjoyed the edamame and Takatiki tuna ($17) for starters. My daughter enjoyed the vegetable spring rolls but I did not think they were flavorful. We ordered 2 BOGO sushi rolls at 19$ each- they were fresh, tasty and each good portions overall but too heavy on the rice: fish ratio, served with an attractive garnish including carrots, ginger and wasabi. My daughter had a small warm sake which she enjoyed, and a soft drink. The bill was just under $70, which I thought was too pricey. (And a tip on top of that)
