Mahi-mahi tacos were inedible, over-fried chunks of fish. Even if they were cooked perfectly, they are skimpy for the price. Rice was either old and crunchy, or undercooked.A tinga quesadilla was good, but I can't recommend a place that serves anything on their menu thats so bad I don't want to eat it.

This place is mildly addicting. My husband and I couldn’t stop eating here over the summer over the summer. Only reason I gave the food 4 stars is because the queso is kind of fake. However, if you get chorizo in it it’s pretty good. The quesadillas and tortas are amazing. The salsa roja is not meant for consumption it’s insanely spicy. Order extra green salsa though.

Easily the worst taco I’ve ever had. Go literally anywhere else and it will be better
This place is great. Their tacos are fantastic, fresh, wonderfully spiced. A hidden gem.

Horrible. Ordered off of uber eats as it had a 4.2 review there. Got the mahi-mahi tacos, with onions and cilantro.Received tacos with fried fish sticks that were over cooked, no cilantro, no onions, but lettuce and tomatoes. Tasted like I should have gone to taco bell, and paid like it was a real street taco place. Avoid at all costs.

Mahi-Mahi is “special.” Special, all right. No where does it say fried and deep fried at that, too the point of being chewy. I almost thought it was chicken. And they were fish sticks, at best. Never mind that the cilantro and onions ordered were not included, so we got to eat them with a little lettuce and some sauce. I truly wish I had taken photos. It was a joke to pay extra for this “special” taco.

I had the Birria tacos with cheese and the asada fries. I was highly disappointed in the flavor, the broth taste like straight water with red food coloring. The fries were soggy and bland as well.

We spent $70 . We had a couple orders of birria tacos & some birria ramen. None of the food had seasoning. The juice to dip the tacos in taste like hot water , the meat was dry as well . The birria ramen taste like hot water no seasoning at all
The location is at downtown Raleigh. Very small place ,but it has some sitting indoors and outdoors. We got the birra tacos. Very delicious, my only complaint is the tortilla was a little chewy. Also, a good amount of meat.

I order via door dash and it’s correct every time. Food is delicious. Visited the restaurant one time for a to-go order just to check it out. Staff is friendly, atmosphere at lunch was busy, clean restaurant!

I think I’ve tried It all! Not a fan of the seafood because of the breading! Otherwise it’s amazing

Delicious home cooked food....many authentic choices
Pretty disappointing.. ordered on door dash. This soup was $13 for broth that had zero flavor, a single boiled chicken wing and piece of corn, and 2 small potatoes. Ordered chips and queso but did not receive it. The ACP and Birria tacos were just ok. Would not order again especially given so many other, better options on door dash and in the area.

I really want this place to succeed but there are much, much better taco options in the area. For the price, the quality is terrible. I've had cheap $2 tacos out of a food truck that knock this place out of the park. I was really excited to see a taco place so close to us, so we ordered Tacos El Patron for delivery. The good: the asada and chicken tacos were just okay, but the meat was very chewy. The tacos come with onions and cilantro. My boyfriend got the asada quesadilla and said it was decent, nothing exceptional. We also got an order of the asada fries, which were probably the best item in our entire order. Now, the bad. The meat in the al pastor taco inedible. We got an order of queso and I am not exaggerating when I say that I'm pretty sure it's just melted generic-brand Velveeta style cheese. Absolutely no spices or seasoning in it. It's the kind of cheese you get on a hot dog at a minor league baseball game.
