Best. Indian. Restaurant. in Raleigh. We regularly get take outs here and have been loyal to their food for 3+ years now. Recently we followed our urge to find “some place new” and gave another Indian restaurant a try (I won’t name them here). But it only reminded us how amazingly good Taj Mahal’s food was. We are going to stop searching for other options. This is the only place we’ll get Indian foods.
Worst tandoori chicken I had ever.. Garlic naan was like garlic bread too thick. Usually it comes with garlic and coriander sprinkled.. but they put just garlic. Butter chicken was ok.

I recently visited an Indian restaurant, and the experience was fantastic! The food was absolutely amazing, with rich flavors and perfect seasoning in every dish. Our server, Julio, was awesome—attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this place for both the delicious food and excellent service!
I have been eating at this restaurant for almost 25 years! Back when this was a tiny restaurant on capital blvd, now expanded on falls. Mohan Uncle makes thee best curries and gravies all around!! If the restaurant ever relocates again, I’m quite sure I’d find myself moving as well!!

The food here is absolutely incredible. The samosas are perfectly crispy on the outside and so flavorful. The mango chutney is heavenly, the gobi Manchurian is perfection. Best Chana masala around. Can’t recommend this place highly enough!!
