This was hands down the best Indian food my husband and I have ever had. Every bite was so flavorful, and had just the right amount of spice. We had the butter chicken and the Murg Pasanda. For dessert, we had the Thandak Lemongrass gelato, which was absolutely incredible and the perfect end to our meal. Our waiter was very attentive all night - he knew the menu inside and out and was able to answer all of our questions. The ambiance here was wonderful. You can tell the owners care very much about the their restaurant. Their attention to detail has not gone unnoticed, as the interior is so beautifully designed. Everything from the marble top design of their tables, to the romantic lamps on each table, to the stunning installation on the ceiling. It all makes you feel like you’re at a trendy New York City restaurant, when really you’re in Raleigh, North Carolina. Kudos Tamasha for unlocking the restaurant potential this city has to offer.

Looking for an Indian restaurant with a touch of elegance and flavor? Look no further than Tamasha in North Hills! While it may not replace the warmth of home-cooked meals, it certainly adds a unique twist to traditional dishes. We savored the shrimp, goat curry, Hyderabadi biryani, and other delights. The ghewar stood out, with its refreshing rose and saffron flavors, despite the milk being a tad thin. I highly recommend Tamasha to anyone seeking an exceptional Indian dining experience.

Most importantly the food was great. I visited a few weeks ago and wanted to leave a perfect review… BUT the fact that they asked to take my girlfriend’s coat, then gave it to another woman on her way out left a sore taste in my mouth. I held out hope of leaving this review because maybe since they went above on asking for her coat they’d go above and find the coat or at least call us since we gave them our numbers.

Amazing modern Indian experience. The food and wine pairings with the courses were top notch as recommended by the staff. The plates were smaller, definitely shareable but even the large plates were not as large as expected, but the food was amazing. Would recommend ordering multiple items if you're going to share.

Our waiter, Orlando, was a true joy and really great. The restaurant was much smaller than anticipated so no wonder reservations take a bit of time. We had better luck calling for a resy and they were super helpful. The atmosphere was beautiful with plenty of table space so they aren’t trying to cram too many tables together in a small area.If we were to go back, it would only be for drinks and appetizers. Food presentation was stunning. Appetizers were delicious. Drinks were hit and miss around our table of 6. Of our main meals, none were stellar, sadly. We were all looking so forward to it after the apps but they lacked in flavor all around. Also, for $30+ per entree, the dishes were mostly sauce and rice - not much of the protein to be had.We wish this restaurant lots of luck but the consensus around our table was that Tamasha is over priced and over hyped.

Tamasha offers a delightful culinary journey through modern Indian cuisine. The food and appetizers are undeniably delicious, with each dish bursting with authentic flavors and spices. However, it's worth noting that the restaurant may be a bit overhyped.Despite claims of being fully booked, it's evident that there's availability, especially when booking for a smaller group (4+). This slight exaggeration aside, the food truly speaks for itself. While Tamasha may not quite live up to its marketed image as a fancy dining spot, the quality of the food makes it a worthwhile visit.Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience and would likely return for another round of flavorful Indian dishes. Just keep in mind that it's more about the food than the fancy ambiance.

I must say……I had my best experience in Tamasha. The food was so flavoursome. The staff is so kind and generous. They were so well informed and trained well. I was with my brother and I had to introduced him to the Indian cuisine. And he was so happy to dine with. Thank you Tamasha.
