Taste has been in several locations in Raleigh and has settled into the neighborhood off of Whitaker Mill Rd. Monday is 1/2 off bottle of wine night! My friend and I went and had a savory and refreshing bruschetta appetizer as well as the Salmon. The latter was plated beautifully! We were attended to perfectly and the servers even poured our wine. This is a stylish place with sleek interior. While some may consider the menu limited the small open kitchen spells out the obvious. Only so much fits! And what they do serve is delish. Taste lives up to its name! The food is indeed tasty.

We stopped in on a Saturday morning for brunch. It was quiet and cozy, the service was great, and food was awesome too. We got the fried rice and pad Thai. Highly recommend!

We stopped in on a random weeknight and it was nice. We got lots of small plates to share and they were delicious. I was expecting them to have a few more wine options but the wine we had was great. Wait staff was super friendly. Our favorites were the tuna bowl, dumplings, and the bruschetta.

Vegetarian options: Definitely some veg options.

Parking: Small parking lot but generally adequate.

Kid-friendliness: Really doesn't cater to kids.

The steak was genuinely the worst steak I’ve ever eaten. Believe it was the glaze all over the steak as my friend tried it and agreed. Had half a bite couldn’t finish the rest. Further it’s listed as a gluten free option, and when we tried to order it and explained we had a celiac individual, and they said the potatoes were in a cross contaminated fryer
And they could substitute with rice. You should not list a dish as gluten free when an entire side needs to be removed and exchanged.

Our brunch: Shrimp and grits is amazing; best I've tasted, even comparing to Crooks. Omelett was equally amazing.
Service is outstanding and attentive. How did we miss this place!!
Best kept secret in Raleigh!

Took 90 minutes to get one entree to the table because the two different servers who never introduced themselves also didn't coordinate the order. This stuff happens, especially since the pandemic, but they weren't friendly about it, they still charged us for the drinks, and that lone vegetarian entree had fish sauce in it, even though we asked about that beforehand. We tipped for the drinks, but if you want something in the "bougie destination strip mall" vein, go to Tazza or something. They're pleasant there, and they might even cook you dinner.

Vegetarian options: They may or may not know whether food is or is not vegetarian? I'd suggest checking with them, but that didn't work in our experience.

Quiet and enjoyable atmosphere. Seems a bit overpriced. But hit the spot for me atmosphere wise. The food was good but not out this world. Granted, I'm vegetarian so a meat eaters experience could be totally different. The service was great despite only having one bartender working the entire bar

Food was good. Flavors were on point, but the portions were pretty small for the prices. We had Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Ahi Tuna, Sliders, and a couple other dishes. All of which were solid.Service was good. Definitely above average, but nothing exceptional.Atmosphere was more like a slightly upscale bar, with all bar height seating which wasn't super comfortable over a long period. The live edge wood table tops were a nice touch (for me).Excuse the blurry images, I'm no photographer.

Have been there twice, I got the hanger steak the first time and the fire ramen the next time both dishes were prepared to perfection! My compliments to the cooks! Zoe and Sam were an amazing tag team for service with everyone in the place. Let me tell you that cheesecake is to die for! This is one of my new fave spots In the Raleigh area!
