Outstanding meal! I chose the tomahawk pork chop and was not disappointed at all. The spice rub was perfect and the sauce on top was quite flavorful. I had the yogurt parfait for dessert and it was a hefty portion. Highly recommend!

Starting with the food my parents and I had the Lamb chops, very charred to the point where it tastes burnt on all 3 racks and the appearance of the lamb chops was very dark/burnt, green beans were extremely salty and also the calamari was extremely salty to. On top of that the food was served cold to us to where we had to send it back to get it reheated. My cousin had the seafood linguini which was extremely salty to the point where she had to take it back. They fixed the pasta but the lobster was absolutely salty still. Our waitress also wasn’t up to par by not taking our menus after ordering and having a long delay on brining the children their drinks. We also had to ask for straws three times to where a different waiter had to provide us that. Overall this experience wasn’t what I expected and prolly won’t return but the scenery was definitely nice.

The upstairs rood top area lives up to the hype. Cool, relaxed vibe. I really liked their drink menu options and the zucchini cakes. Anything with the feta or tziki sauce is so creamy and delicious. Good mousakka.

Great food (quality and quantity), great ambience for day or night! And great service! We went for a late night dinner, so it was just us in the restaurant kind of close to their end of shift, but that did not affect the quality of food and service. Highly recommended.

This is one of the best restaurants downtown and the best Greek restaurant I found in the triangle. Go on a sunny warm day and sit on their second floor patio. It’s delightful.

Despite having a busy bunch of tables, Kristi really hustled and made time for me who was sitting alone. She made some solid recommendations for what to eat too.

Michael was phenomenal! He was so attentive during our birthday dinner and really elevated the experience. The lasagna was fabulous along with the red sangria. We will be back!

I recently visited Taverna Agora to celebrate my niece’s 18th birthday. It was my first time trying Greek cuisine, and while the food was a little different from what I’m used to, it tasted all right overall. The atmosphere was beautiful—especially the rooftop view. It had a nice vibe, minimal noise, and was a great place to gather for a celebration.

Unfortunately, the service completely ruined the experience. Our server, Lydia W., was unprofessional and seemed very unprepared to handle a large group. She repeatedly brought drinks to the my niece’s table without mentioning that they were not refillable, which led to multiple unexpected charges. These were young guests who didn’t realize they were being charged for every refill, and Lydia never clarified it.

When it came time to settle the bill, things got even worse. Lydia assumed the entire party was paying together without asking. When we explained that we needed separate checks, she became visibly frustrated and said it would be “extremely difficult” to do. She disappeared several times, came back without printed receipts, and even tried to charge one of the parents for someone else’s appetizer. At one point, she broke down crying, and the manager had to step in to fix the chaos.

Once the manager took over, everything was finally handled correctly and we were able to leave. As we exited, we saw Lydia breathe a huge sigh of relief like she was just glad we were gone — which honestly summed up how poorly the service went.

The rooftop view and ambiance were the best parts of the night, but Lydia’s service made the overall experience stressful and disappointing. The restaurant has potential, but they need to seriously improve staff training and communication.
