Absolutely incredible experience. Jessica made me feel right at home like I was a long-time regular. I will be stopping by again every time I visit Raleigh. Greatest and friendliest service I have ever experienced!
Best Moussaka in the area! But I noticed one of the waitresses has her very long hair down all the way to her waist. When she served food her hair was dangling in the way of serving. I was surprised that restaurant with very cleaned bathrooms would allow waitress to let loose her hair. Seems unsanitary.
I've eaten here for so many years and have enjoyed it every time. It's a Raleigh institution to me! Taverna is a good spot for groups, dates, or just for yourself. The food is good to great, and the atmosphere is hard to beat - especially if you like a nice rooftop like I do. It's typically on my DTR list for out-of-town friends who are visiting.
