The female brunette bar tender was very rude. We walked in , paid $50 ($10 pp) to get in and our friends asked if they had diet she responded no in a very rude voice and demeanor. Mind you we had just walked in. Then our friends asked her if they had a different soda she responded “yes” but once again with a rude voice and demeanor. Our friend leans over to his girlfriend as the bar tender is coming with their drinks and he says to his girlfriend, “it’s going to be a second before I can pay her I can’t get my card out.” Simply because it was stuck in his wallet the bar tender literally trashes the drinks she just made right in front of us and storms to the other side of the bar and sends a male bar tender and I assumes gets security. The male bar tender makes all 5 of the drinks requested and before he’s even done my husband and our friend is being escorted out. My husband said, “2 mic ultras please”. Those were the ONLY words that he said. And that gets you kicked out? They allowed me to go back in to get my friend who was unaware of what had happened and the male bartender was handing her the drinks and she said, “I’m so sorry I guess we got kicked out.” His response was “Then get out of my face!” And walks away. I’m not quite sure why these bar tenders are an absolutely miserable and so hostile but their service was the worst I have ever had.
I think it’s absolutely horrible that we got kicked out because the bar tender was having a bad night. I understand no one wants to work NYE but she didn’t have to try and ruin our night simply because she was in a bad mood. We asked the bouncers, “Can we ask why we got kicked out?” Their response was, “No, you can’t.” They can’t tell us because their answer would’ve been, “Because our bar tender is having a bad night and she’s projecting on to the 5 of you even though you’ve been in the bar 3 minutes. So sorry you were targeted by here.” ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. Teets manager, bar tenders , and bouncers should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. We were causing no problems, had no bad exchange with anyone and were literally escorted out under 5 minutes of being in this bar.
Needless to say we will never be returning! The manager needs to have a chat with their staff about customer service because TEETS IS LACKING IN QUALITY SERVICE.
If we were causing issues, yelling, fighting, etc. Sure, I would understand being escorted out. But the fact that literally none of that happened and we were escorted out and talked to so rudely by all the staff is absolutely ridiculous. My husband, myself and all of our friends hold very good jobs. We contribute to society in a great way, every single day and to be treated like this, by people in this establishment is absolutely shameful. And the fact that no one could give us answers to why we were TARGETED is absolutely ridiculous.
I do not recommend this establishment and never will. Do better, be better and treat people with respect. That’s it.

Wrong charge me for 1 cider. For $6/ $7 cider charged me $12.24.
I was waiting for my family member to get out of the bathroom, when out of nowhere two security guards grabbed me by my shoulders and started pulling me out. I did not fight back, nor argue, just accepted it even though I did literally nothing. Their words were "you're too drunk" when I wasn't even barely drunk. I hadn't bumped into anybody, hadn't made a mess, nor caused a fight.
They did not explain the reasoning for being kicked out, nothing. Take this as what you want, just be wary as they will be watching.

This is one of my favorite bars. My friend groups current saying is "nothing bad ever happens at Teets" and it still holds true. Excellent bartenders and wonderful security. You can't have a bad time here.

I just went here in my birthday. I went up to the bartender girl, handed her my card to order a hard cider, she swiped it, and told me that my card isn’t working, I go to hand her a credit card, but this girl came up to me and said “it’s your birthday girl, your drink is on me” I was so happy and the bartender lady handed me back my card without swiping the second one. But I just checked my bank account and noticed that they took out around $40 out of my account. I did not purchase a drink there at all the whole night. And the card that she swiped earlier, the bar tender told me it was not working. I have called about 50 times today (not exaggerating), to discuss this issue, but they have not answered once. And when sent to voicemail, they say I can’t leave a message because their inbox is full. Just to find out that this place is rated low for a reason. They steal your money, and don’t answer. I’m going to have to get the bank involved now. Ridiculous. Save your money for some other place!

They were offering tattoo specials. The tattoo artist set up everything and then asked me where I wanted my tatt… which I replied below my navel. He then declined to do my tatt. My friend and I had been waiting all night. We were only willing to do the tatt if both of us were getting the tatt at the same time. The tattoo artist was definitely giving homophobic ONLY because he asked me why couldn’t I get the tatt anywhere else
Charged my card an extra $8. Good thing I take pictures of my receipts - what do they think everyone is to drunk to? Disputed the charge with my bank.

The manager working on Saturday, 9/21, was absolutely on a power trip. He blatantly skipped songs people *paid* for on the touch tunes, and when we called him out, he didn’t hesitate to throw us out. Completely unprofessional, rude, and just pathetic behavior. This guy is single-handedly killing any chance this place has of staying in business. Bates better wake up and realize that this guy is why their rating is tanking. He’s the reason we will *never* come back, and I’m sure we’re not the only ones.

Teets is a Shadow of Its Former Self
Teets used to be a thriving spot, especially on Tuesday nights when it felt like a real community. Unfortunately, those days are long gone. The last time I went, the place was an absolute disaster. The music was so deafening that it drowned out any attempt at karaoke or conversation, completely ruining what used to be a fun night.
The regulars, who were the heart and soul of the bar, had already started to leave early on. By the time midnight rolled around, there were only a handful of people left, and it felt like the energy of the place had evaporated entirely.
Teets has sadly become a ghost of what it once was—a place that was built up over time, only to see it all come crashing down thanks to poor management and a complete disregard for what made it special in the first place.
If you’re considering stopping by, I’d say don’t bother. This bar is a far cry from the lively spot it used to be.

Super chill plants, staff is friendly and helpful. If you need a olace to pregame, watch the game, or just hangout, great place. ?
Only improvement is when you keep tab open, they charge a $50 hold on card. Easy workaround is to close tab and not keep open.

Employees broke federal and state laws and are discriminatory.
About 9 months ago I attempted to go here in the early hours of night and have a fun evening with my sibling, but ended up having a horrible experience instead.
After waiting in line, we finally got to the bouncers to present our ID’s and immediately one of the bouncers told me I was not allowed to have headphones. For context they were a pair of noise cancelling headphones, that didn’t even play music. This was very confusing as the sign right next to the bouncer said that they didn’t really enforce a dress code, and there is nothing inappropriate or dangerous about headphones. It was also odd because my sibling had been there before with people wearing headphones and apparently had never had any issues. Seconds later the other bouncer on duty brought up another “issue”.
I had the headphones with me because I am disabled, and require the use of disability aids to safely manage my symptoms. One such disability aid is a fully task trained service dog. It is important to note first that at this time the establishment wasn’t busy, and there is no reason that my dog and I wouldn’t have been able to navigate the establishment safely and unobtrusively.
However, the bouncer immediately stated that they don’t allow dogs past 9pm. I stated that he was a service dog (although he was decked out in visible gear). The bouncer shook his head and still refused us access. My sibling spoke up and asked if my service dog was the only reason that we weren’t being allowed in, to which the bouncer nodded in affirmation and my sibling said that my dog is federally protected. The bouncer then asked if we had paperwork (which to people who are unfamiliar, no employee or establishment is ever allowed to require documentation for a service dog under federal law).At this point I spoke up and explained the Americans with Disabilities Act’s definition of a service dog, and the two questions businesses are allowed to ask to identify if a service dog was legitimate or not. To this bouncers credit, I do genuinely think he was listening to me and he seemed open to learning. However as I was talking to him a third bouncer came up behind him and moved him away— immediately he left and refused to make eye contact with us. Instead this third bouncer got up close to us to be able to loom over us and crossed his arms. For context both myself and my sibling are women, and I am only 5’3” , again, disabled. It was very, very clear that he was intentionally attempting to use physical means of intimidation.
If at any point myself or my sibling were yelling, being rude or disrespectful, I might’ve understood it— but we were calmly talking and only stating the laws.
I was afraid at this point that the bouncer might get physical as I’d read many reviews that said they had in the past, so we left. But it is ILLEGAL under both federal and North Carolina state law to refuse access to a service dog and its handler. It is also illegal to require documentation or paperwork, as stated. And for context, my service sog was merely standing calmly by my side this entire time, ignoring people and everything else as he is trained to do.
Horrible experience and business, and I hope dearly they’ve made progress towards being less discriminatory since then.
