Tepuy Donuts (inside idle hour coffee)

This coffee shop is unique and their creative drinks had me driving 30 mins. to experience again. Don't sleep on their Mistletoe Matcha holiday drink--I had never had matcha, peppermint and white chocolate together before, and it's surprisingly excellent! All of their syrups are homemade, and you can discern the difference. They have creative desserts and also items that are Gluten Free as well. 5 stars!

Cute and modern donut shop. The flavors and donut offerings are fun and creative, as well as delicious. The seating is plentiful and the interior is nicely decorated, fairly modern and hip.

Tried their crème brûlée donut and their Vietnamese iced latte. The donut was delicious, one of the best crème brûlée donuts I’ve tried. Their iced latte was a bit on the bitter tend though, so I asked for it extra sweetened and they gladly obliged. The staff seem nice.

This review is LONG overdue! These are THE BEST donuts I have ever had. I order these ahead to make sure I get to try all of the new flavors! I’ve ordered for my family, friends, baby showers, team events etc! I also tell anyone and everyone about them. If you haven’t tried them yet, you’re missing out! The owner is friendly and quick to respond on Instagram. Donuts are ALWAYS fresh and ALWAYS delicious!

OMG. These are the best donuts I’ve ever had! I held out a long time on trying them because I never like “fancy” donuts, but my husband wore me down. I was blown away. The salted caramel is the best donut of all time - sweet with a hint of salty. The donuts are large and actually filling. We have been back multiple times now and everything we’ve tried has been amazing. It’s easy to place your order online the night before and pick them up the next morning.

If you're looking for a doughnut bigger than your fists that is REALLY good. Try here. But seriously, share one. Or see if they have doggie donut bags. Some places go for quantity over quality, not here, they have both. The Nutella filled was my particular fav.

So we tried Tepuy's baked goods using the TooGoodToGo app. It seemed like a cool way to check out a new place. I have to say, even though we got 5 donuts for only $6.50, I would never go back. They donuts were dense, dry, heavy, and greasy. Luckily I have a composter and that's directly where I put them. Such a disappointment.

Our experience must have been very different from most. We came here due to all of the great reviews, but we were so disappointed.

When we came in, we were super confused, despite knowing that the donuts were supposed to be inside Idle Hour Coffee, because we could not find where they were. The donuts are in this tiny little case in the back corner behind the cash register, and super hard to see.

Once we found them, we began looking and trying to decide what to get. As people ordered in front of us, we realized that customers were asking for and getting donuts that were not listed on the donut case, and customers were being told that they did not have donuts that were listed on the case. Therefore, what was written was not an accurate representation of what they had, totally fine.

What wasn't fine was the way that the workers seemed increasingly frustrated as people continued to ask for donuts they didn't have, and for having to go to the case and tell customers what was available. If the workers were kind and just didn't have time to update the case then fine, but don't be upset with the customer for not knowing what is and isn't available.

The donuts themselves weren't good at all. They were way too rich and too had too much going on. We didn't even finish them because we didn't like them. The price was not worth the experience or the taste of the donuts. Would recommend Baker's Dozen over this place any day.

Hands down best donuts I’ve ever had! These sour dough donuts are always fresh and super unique flavors. We have tried tajin mango, hibiscus / raspberry, maple bacon, and pretty much any other flavor he has offered. I highly recommend the assorted dozen, because you can’t go wrong with any of them! The owner is very responsive & friendly, which just makes it that much easier to keep coming back for more, even if it is a 30 minute drive. I’ve gotten these for friends, family, for a baby shower & even my staff appreciation week in my dental office. EVERYONE has raved about these and had to know where they came from. Can’t wait to see what new flavors come about in the future.

Tepuy had my favorite donuts in the triangle, and when I found out they catered I was thrilled to add them to my wedding vendors! They delivered beautiful, delicious, and fresh donuts on time and with no fuss for our big day and made an excellent addition! Our guests loved them!
