Very busy locally owned Thai restaurant. Thr kitchen gets backed up, but they tell you. Don't go if you're impatient or a jerk.

I really liked the food and the atmosphere here! Everything is just like I ate in Thailand, but the portions are bigger here. One Pad Thai is enough for two people.

Ordered House Salad, Chicken Satay, and Spring Rolls appetizers. Salad and chicken Satay were not fresh. The water glasses were dirty. Main entries were below average. I will not recommend to others.

This has been our go-to Thai place in Raleigh! We have not found better Pad Thai anywhere else in Raleigh or when visiting other cities. The takeout portions may seem a little expensive, but they give you a large portion that can feed most people two meals, so it’s worth it!

Food is hot, fresh, good. Service is friendly, though a little slow if they are busy. Atmosphere is not fancy, but there is table service. We gladly drive here to eat because it is much better than the Thai food near our house.

Our experience at this Thai restaurant had its ups and downs. The Pad Thai was a solid choice, meeting expectations with its classic flavors. However, my husband's beef stir-fry fell short--the meat was tough, and the dish lacked flavor depth. Despite this, we found some standout items, like the tasty chicken skewers and the flavorful Tom Yum soup. We also tried the Thai custard dessert with sweet sticky rice, which, while not our favorite, intrigued us to try the mango sticky rice next time.Although the restaurant's worn appearance was noticeable, the friendly service helped offset it.Despite the mixed experience, we're open to giving this place another chance. With enough promising moments, we're curious to explore more of their menu offerings and see if there are other gems to discover.
We got two orders of pad thai for takeout. I would've given Thai Villa four stars, but the pad thai had a slightly metallic taste because of their container choice. I would strongly recommend using a different kind of container rather than the aluminum kind to preserve the quality of the food.

Food was ok, from the choices. It has been at least 10 years since we had eaten there. Not quite how I remember it. We ordered our known favorites. The Num Tok barely had any beef, but a lot of lettuce, yet was like $11. The spicy fried rice ordered was very plain and not Thai hot as requested. The Tom yum soup with shrimp was not very good. The Kua Noodles were ok. I had hoped to go back and have some the curry dishes next time. Red curry and Panang curry were among my favorites in the past. Maybe better luck next time.
