I go every week, and get a full rack of St louis style ribs, have not been disappointed
the sausage links are amazing, the brisket and pulled pork is excellent. get there early is my advice
I am leaving for the last time ever. Save yourself the headache and avoid. My last 3 orders have been wrong— the last order looks like someone working there replaced my meat order with scraps they saved on the side— I could not tell if there was pork or turkey hidden under the burnt ends I paid for and when I called about the order after having driven from Durham— I was left on hold and hung up on multiple times until someone claiming to be a manger named Larry took my call...read full review
The food is great let’s start by making that clear. What’s not great is standing in line for 20 minutes while confused customers order 5 bags of takeout.
This happens a lot because there’s no separate area for takeout and that’s probably 1/3 of their customers orders. The ordering process isn’t really streamlined.

The BBQ Lab is a recommended restaurant with excellent food and on-point service. They offer vegetarian options and clearly state which dishes contain meat. Parking is convenient, with a large parking deck and street parking available. Customers enjoy the St Louis style ribs, sausage links are amazing, the brisket and pulled pork is excellent. One customer was blown away by how delicious everything was, especially the brisket and BBQ. The meal was so good. Another customer spent $80 on burnt ends and pulled pork, loving the food. The brisket was well seasoned and the sauce was incredible. The hush puppies were delicious. All staff were courteous and the atmosphere was pleasant. The BBQ Lab is a must-visit for delicious BBQ.
