The barbecue wasn't as good as we were made to believe, but it was a yummy meal regardless. Brisket was overcooked but the ribs and chicken were better.

The little paper boat containers for their sides are horrible. The green beans and baked beans dissolved the paper and they fell apart when trying to move it to share with the person beside me. BBQ Lab - spend the small amount more and invest in sturdier containers ?

**The star of the show was the dole whip though. I would give the dole whip 100 stars. I will return just for that!**

Decided to try this place and was excited by the reviews I’d read. The collards were excellent, the potatoes were slightly bland, and the brisket was not tender. I might eat here again, but I won’t order the brisket.

Had lunch with my boys and a guest and we had everything from brisket to chicken tenders to regular Mac n cheese, brisket Mac n cheese and baked beans. The food was good...Mac n cheese could've used a little salt but I understand when you cook for the masses you have to be mindful of those things but salt n pepper were available at the table. We tried EVERY sauce and they did not disappoint. Overall, a cozy and laid back place to enjoy some good food...Not gonna lie, the chicken tenders were BIG and a great choice.

Food was absolutely amazing. Go the lamb sandwich which was soooo goooodd. Not something that you usually have an a BBQ joint but it was awesome. The ribs are a must have. Very tasty. Also had a nice selection of sauces. My favorite part was the service though. They were all so nice!

I am leaving for the last time ever. Save yourself the headache and avoid. My last 3 orders have been wrong— the last order looks like someone working there replaced my meat order with scraps they saved on the side— I could not tell if there was pork or turkey hidden under the burnt ends I paid for and when I called about the order after having driven from Durham— I was left on hold and hung up on multiple times until someone claiming to be a manger named Larry took my call and told me to come for a free retry. Rather than take the offer I attempted to *pay* to give them another chance. I ordered online. Rather than tell me that they were sold out- a member of staff saw me waiting at the bar for pick-up, canceled my order, and said nothing to me until I had to inquire. Only then was I told that my order was canceled because they irked I paid for was sold out. Worst service ever. Food isn’t worth it. I now truly believe an employee knowingly and intentionally switched my food with cheaper scraps while charging for brisket. Stay far away from the north hills location if any.

I’m from the Midwest and quite picky about my bbq (which to me means ribs not pulled pork!). Their ribs are excellent, love the variety of sauces, and the brisket sandwich is also great. I’m so happy they opened a Raleigh location!

Excellent pulled pork. Cooked just right. Nice atmosphere and customer service. Good bbq sauce and had Cheerwine with my Dr. Pepper. Would come back if I didn't live 400 miles away.

First time in. BBQ sandwich with slaw and a side of baked beans. Beans were great (wish I had a bigger serving). BBQ was just average for me. Had to add a good amount of vinegar sauce to get to my liking. Young cashier lady not the most pleasant but I'm about the food most the time anyway. 4 Star food because of the beans really.
