I had an amazing time at The Brass Tap! The ambiance was fantastic, the food options were delicious, and the service was top-notch. It's definitely a cool new hangout spot in Raleigh. I highly recommend this place!

** update: after the owner responded to this message telling me to email him, it has been 3 weeks and several follow-ups to my email and no response. Did nothing to make up for our bad experience! **

*** 2nd update: I have emailed Harry 3 times (owner that replied to this review) and he has still not replied once. They do not stick to their word and good luck getting anything compensated for your bad experience. Plenty of other spots around. ***

$3 to sample a beer... Ridiculous and should've let us know prior. Charged another dollar for a side upgrade even though they were out of the side. Food is pretty mid to begin with. Felt like they'll squeeze every cent out of you. Atmosphere is great for sports tho, and good local spot.

Last night we went to this place and had a very bad experience. On their website, it shows a promotion for a burger for $12. We asked the waitress about this promotion, and she yelled at us saying it was no longer available and had ended on 10/31, even though the image clearly shows it ends on 11/30. We asked the waitress again if she was sure, and she angrily shouted that it was no longer available. What a disappointment we will not be coming back to this place.

This place is decent but they charged us for a beer sample which I’ve never heard of… they also didn’t give us the sauce for the potstickers and ran out of the original side we wanted but still charged us.

This is my 3rd time here, and each time was a great experience! The staff were all so friendly, welcoming and hard working. The food was amazing. They have a great beer selection. And a great selection of whiskey/ bourbon. The cocktails are on point. It is both kid and pet friendly. Nice patio. A fun, laid back atmosphere. Tons of TVs and a great place to watch the game. Plenty of parking. Within walking distance from Gleneood South.

This was our first time at The Brass Tap and we had an awesome experience. We came up for the Derby match (Manchester United vs Manchester City) and the soccer vibe here was spot on. Food was great, service was friendly, and it was kid friendly too. Our son crushed a pepperoni pizza. We’ll definitely be back for another match!

First time here despite living in the same building. The food was excellent, the brisket in the tacos was so tender and the flavor was perfection. Their spicy margarita was actually spicy and not overly sweet with syrup. I’m picky about a spicy margarita and they nailed it. Service was excellent, as well.

We went around lunch time. There are 3 doors that lead in to the restaurant. It was kind of confusing because you see people sitting in front of each door but all doors are available to walk in. It’s self seating (didn’t know and had to ask a waitress). All the staff were pretty friendly. Our waitress, Lindsey made sure we had time to look over the menu and got our drinks. The food was good. I had an impossible burger with the crispy brussel sprouts and my husband had a chicken sandwich with a side of bang bang shrimp. We also had a a guava cider and a THC iced tea which was really good. I would give this an overall 4.5 only because there were a few nats flying around and the place isn’t that big inside and gets crowded quickly. We spent about $70 in total on our meal. Great place to go on a first date, quick family meal out or solo lunch meal. They have great views of the downtown scenery too.

Food was amazing yesterday came for texas Vs Ohio state game and a server named Sam did good making sure we got everything we wanted :) the downside was the older gentleman with a great shirt which was the GM I believe seemed to have an attitude which wasn’t anything new multiple times I have came and he’s had an attitude he just sat around moping or not doing much to help his staff food was sitting in window when he was standing there and didn’t bring it out as everyone else was busy management is horrible so me nor my family will be back until management changes to a more friendlier environment
