Local neighborhood bar. Very nice lady behind the bar. Daily food and drinks specials. 1 pool table. Please note: I was told the menu is being updated, so ask before you order. Great live music
Best Burger, great prices & love wine Friday!
Great neighborhood spot!
Michelle was a pleasure! This place has only had a couple owners since opening in 1984. Kid friendly lunch spot, they also serve brunch! Patty Melt was delicious and so was the Cowboy Burger. Ordered a single pancake and it was almost as big as the plate! We will definitely be coming back, good value for the prices.
Had not had anything that is bad.. Friendly staff feels like a North Raleigh Players Retreat.

Ordered the beef & bacon burger, it's not longer available was told the menu hadn't been updated. Was advised to get cheeseburger with bacon. When arrived was told after paying they didn't have bacon! Was charged &14.50 + tax, wanted to pay back in coupon (wouldnt or couldnt refund card) , finally gave cash...$10 not $14.50 + tax that was charged (sent My Son he did check price of Burger). Wife quesadias were not good. I would NOT recommend this place, very unprofessional.

was told after payment that they didn’t have bacon for my burger then i asked to refund the whole burger and she looked at me and said “but i already made it” then tried to give me gift card before just refunding in cash and didnt even give the full amount. the customer service was rude over the phone as well and the food came out lack luster

Food is decent for bar food. But it's definitely bar food. Digital slot machines and Fox "News".

I almost hesitate to write a review because I don't want to ruin the place.
Food was great came out hot and fresh. Didn't take long. You can tell it has a lot of regulars. It's like your favorite burger bar from college. Even still plays the same music.
Has a pool table.
Locally there are so many places close by where you can get over priced food and drinks with sub par service. Then stands this shining star... affordable and the staff is cool... wait and the food is good.. holy cow.
So in short if your wife or girlfriend is shopping near by and you can sneak over come get a burger and a beer. There's a dunkin/baskin Robbins 31 close by so you can stop and get her a drink otw back and just say you dipped out to surprise her.
Cheers

Good basic breakfast on Sunday for $10. 2 eggs, rye or plain toast, excellent bacon. Decent coffee and iced tea. Quiet location and excellent service. It is in a bar.

Walked in and all the customers were super inviting but the bartender barely acknowledged me and my friends service was terrible for us and then when we were outside she asked other people outside if they wanted a drink but not us. We tried to say have a good day and she completely ignored us. Was gonna get a second round and some food... I changed my mind the service was that bad.
