The Cupcake Shoppe Bakery + Coffee

My family has been using The Cupcake Shoppe for my kids' birthday cakes since 2018. They do an incredible job, every time! The cakes/cupcakes are always so beautiful, and they taste amazing, too! Arlen, the Front of House Manager, is so kind and helpful. This bakery is extremely professional, but has that small-town charm at the same time. If you follow them on Facebook, the shop lets you know about their daily or weekly specials. When I need a pick-me-up in the middle of the week, I love to stop in for a cookie, a croissant, a cupcake, or a muffin! They are a treasure in downtown Raleigh!

I just wanted to show appreciation to this company for their outstanding service. I order cupcakes for my daughter birthday to take to school. Literally the morning before she became sick. This company was so nice to extended my pickup day to the following school day and sell my cupcakes and make some more fresh for that day.

I had an orange cardamom roll and it was delicious! I am sad they don't do decaf espresso here, but the decaf drip coffee was surprisingly good. Definitely planning on a return trip while I am in town.

I ordered a custom cake for my Y2K themed birthday party and they did an amazing job. We discussed my vision and went over inspiration pictures and the the cake came out better than I even expected! It was delicious and super easy to transport. I will definitely be ordering here again!

This place is super cute, I got a latte and a salted caramel cupcake. The latte was great, and the buttercream and caramel on the top were too... However the cupcake tasted... Undercooked/underbaked in the middle, in their defense it didn't LOOk underbaked, but it definitely tasted that way to me. Would I go back and give them another try? Sure. But today this wasn't it.

You will not find a more delicious cake than the amazingly moist, flavorful, and beautiful wedding cake Arlen and her team prepared for my daughter’s wedding in November 2024. The spice cake was so popular the caterer said they could not cut it fast enough! If you are looking for THE MOST delicious cake I have EVER eaten, bar none, call, email, or visit, The Cupcake Shoppe. Arlen and her staff answered countless emails and phone calls as we tried to decide which flavor and what style cake…they were always pleasant, always accommodating, and never seemed put out or exasperated by our countless questions! Highly, highly recommend!

This place is INCREDIBLE. Their cupcakes are insanely good, I was craving it for 3 days after having it for the first time over the weekend. I’ve now tried the carrot cake cupcake, the Lemon, peanut butter, peppermint, mint, and mocha (don’t judge me lol) and they’re all SO good. 12/10 recommend
