The Cupcake Shoppe Bakery + Coffee

My husband and I have been coming here for nearly a year for morning coffees & I’ve even remotely worked when my internet was out. When we found out we were expecting, we immediately knew we wanted to use our favorite spot for cupcakes & cookies for our baby shower.

The ordering process was SO easy, Arlen was communicative and thorough and made sure everything was perfect for our day.

Everyone raved about how incredible the cupcakes were and asked to take some home & the cookies were perfectly decorated.

We can’t wait for our little guy to be born and introduce him to our little coffee tradition. Highly highly recommend!

We had the animal cupcake, salted caramel and lemon cupcake and they were all disgusting. The cupcake was so dry and HARD! The icing was hard as a rock and way too sweet. We had to put it in the microwave which did no justice. Would not go back or recommend

They made us 4 dozen cupcakes for my kids birthday party, and two specialty cupcakes for my kids. They gave recommendations on different ideas and flavors. The staff was very helpful and really made it an easy process. Looking forward to more orders from them in the future!

I ordered cupcakes for my baby shower gender reveal. They were Starbucks Drink themed and they were perfect!!!! Everyone thought they were the cutest cupcakes ever and this store was super easy to work with. I had a few late RSVP’s and had to add extra cupcakes and they were super accommodating! 10/10 recommend!

Doughnuts are amazing but don’t order anything else if they are busy. We waited 30 minutes for our two coffee drinks. They don’t seem to have a good system down.

Yummy coffee and friendly service. Definitely a great place for coffee and a sweet treat.

My daughter was graduating soon and I was frantically trying to find a cupcake shop that would only do two red velvet cupcakes that were frosted like a highland cow. No luck in Greenville North Carolina where I live, so I started calling in Raleigh and I came across the cupcake shoppe. This is something that they had never did before but they said we will definitely do everything we can to make this the best for you.. this was all done over the phone. I sent them some pictures of some ideas. My daughter was absolutely flabbergasted when she opened up those two little boxes and saw the most gorgeous little highland cows you've ever seen. We want to thank you ever so muchi..t turned out to be a wonderful day she ate them and she said that they were still very delicious even a day later ..again thank you and I would recommend this place for everything including some frosted Highlands cows

Best cupcakes!!

My family has been using The Cupcake Shoppe for my kids' birthday cakes since 2018. They do an incredible job, every time! The cakes/cupcakes are always so beautiful, and they taste amazing, too! Arlen, the Front of House Manager, is so kind and helpful. This bakery is extremely professional, but has that small-town charm at the same time. If you follow them on Facebook, the shop lets you know about their daily or weekly specials. When I need a pick-me-up in the middle of the week, I love to stop in for a cookie, a croissant, a cupcake, or a muffin! They are a treasure in downtown Raleigh!

Love The Cupcake Shoppe! We have ordered birthday cakes three years in a row and each one has been spectacular! Two were custom cakes and one was a celebration cake. So good!

I just wanted to show appreciation to this company for their outstanding service. I order cupcakes for my daughter birthday to take to school. Literally the morning before she became sick. This company was so nice to extended my pickup day to the following school day and sell my cupcakes and make some more fresh for that day.
