Trash experience! I ordered cajun crawfish and queso and small fries & Shrimp with lobster sauce I drove 20 minutes out of the way to pick it up because even though i ordered from Hillsboro st, order got sent to the other location. NOT ONCE did the people fulfilling my order think to call me to let me know they neither have crawfish, nor lobster sauce. I arrive to receive ONE tray, not TWO. they gave me shrimp and queso shrimp fries. My girlfriend was hungry, at work, waiting on food. So i begrudgingly accepted the messed up order. We are eating this tray right now through gritted teeth. Shrimp is soggy. Fries are soggy. NOT DANK FAR FROM DANK SAVE YOUR MONEY

The food is excellent every time I come I've never had any issues with my food but I will say you should call to make sure that they actually have what you are looking for on the menu I recently came there on Monday October 13th and everything I asked for on the menu the young lady that was taking a order had to go to the back to ask the guy who was cooking the food if they actually had it I named about four different items that I wanted and they were out of everything I ended up ordering a hot dog and it was very underwhelming a post from any of the other times that I have come and I got one. It literally looked very disappointing and it looked like they were just using the scraps of whatever was left over there was barely enough chili to cover the entire hot dog there was barely any bacon on it and let's not get on the cheese that supposed to come on top of it I would even actually called to make sure that they even had the sauce that you want before you get there.also while I was there they were basically out of any dark colored sauce...ie: Mambo sauce,cheerwine, sauce just to name some there were about five other sauces that the young lady named that they were out of.. it was very disappointing in that just off the fact that I drove from Durham and neither location had any of the sauces that I wanted.Customer service was nice

Was not happy with my $50+ purchase. I didn’t get what I ordered. My steak/steakum was burnt. And the service turned out to not be the greatest. I love supporting my own, but it’s hard because I can’t afford to just give my money away. And I think tonight that’s what I did.

I’ve had the dankery a few times and each time my food portions are smaller and they give me less sauce. I’ve spent over $30 each time I place an order for 2 meals. The food is okay but I go for the vegan nugget option. I have received cold food once and again each time I get less and less. Not sure I will be supporting again since this seems like a trend.

Placed an order with chownow. We realized that items were missing and the order was with the wrong sauces. Tried calling the restaurant but mailbox is full came on. Reached out to chownow for support. Unfortunately they couldn't reach the restaurant either. We requested some sort of refund. The restaurant replied to chownow that they will not offer any refund due to their mistakes. We have eaten at the other location by ncsu but this was our first time ordering from another location. Very disappointed.

Called the store several times to cancel my order because it was the wrong store I had placed my to go order. I contacted the company ChowNow in regards to this and they picked up for them and said my order was pass the pick up time although i had been calling for 30 mins. Very unprofessional and inconvenient. Hope the $2.00 tip was worth it.

The Dankery is our go to when we are craving delicious food. The chicken tenders tray with wet garlic parm or the Buffalo ranch with garlic parm fries is delicious! The chicken tenders are large and the price of $16 for the tray is a good value. I also love getting the chicken or steak queso fries. I usually get lemon pepper on it as well, which gives it a nice zing. My DoorDash order usually arrives within 30 minutes. I’m always recommending the Dankery to everyone I know. #supportsmallbusiness

I’ve been a HUGE fan of the dankery ever since I found their old location in Durham. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and their sauces are the best!! Their employees are always very pleasant, and the vibe of this restaurant is top tier. I highly recommend their Wet garlic parm as well as their buffalo ranch. (The wet garlic parm is the absolute best thing I’ve ever tasted, my mouth is watering thinking about it and I literally just finished my meal) portions are big, and well worth the money. I 100% recommend you support this local, black owned business! I can’t wait to see what’s in the future for the dank.

I don’t know what’s going on but the dankery is going down hill. I ordered delivery from GrubHub at 11:30pm, my friends and I were having a get together and no one wanted to go out. We know how busy the dank is so accepted delivery was going to take longer.
We ordered two tender trays and a steak and queso sub.
1) our steak and queso sub never came, I don’t know if the delivery driver forgot the bag it was in or if the dank never made it in the first place. I’m leaning towards it being the danks fault due to the second problem
2) One of our tender trays lacked the sauce we order. Anyone’s that goes to the Dank knows you order the food FOR the sauce, while my receipt reflected that we did order sauce our plate came dry. While I didn’t get a photo it was clear whoever wrote on the plate for the kitchen just wrote TT (tender tray) forgetting to write down the sauces
3) This could all be seen as a fluke but my friends have been having bad experiences at Dankery’s more convenient location to us on Hillsborough Street. Receiving extremely small portions of tenders and lightly sauced queso fries.
My friends and I love supporting local black businesses, as young black students ourselves. However eating out is not cheap and the Dankery is now becoming a gamble of if the food will be worth it or not due to it becoming non-consistent. Before the summer it was always the go to spot for us but we will not be returning anytime soon.
