I couldn’t recommend this place less. I pass this place everyday and have always wanted to stop by, as it appeared to be a cool spot. Boy was I wrong. My boyfriend and I went in with high hopes, and were met with literally NOTHING. We walk in and stand at the bar, which has no employees in sight, for a good five minutes. I walk upstairs to look for some assistance, and was met with three employees just chatting. I ask if there are any bartenders downstairs, one of the girls says she’s supposed to be down there. We then stand at the upstairs bar for a minute and aren’t even acknowledged, so we leave. Mind you, this place wasn’t busy in the slightest. I will not be coming back. Worst service ever! Y’all have got to do better.

Mike at the Davie still gives me hope for humanity. you don't meet nice people like that nowadays that being said I forgot my wallet and it was 20 minutes away and I was very parched and he gave me a water very kindly

Happen upon the Davie and Im glad I did. They have free food multiple times per week with a drink purchase. Taco Tuesday being when I was there. Great spot right after going to Red Hat Amphitheater as well!

I LOVE THIS BAR!!! My husband and I are travelling and dropped in for a few bevvies. The owner and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming and the drinks were amazing, especially the cocktails. If you are in the area and don’t come here you are missing out on a great time!! We had the best night that goes on our list of ‘most enjoyable experiences’. Thanks guys ???

This bar was great!! We came in last night after a wedding, and after trying another bar in the area that wasn’t as accommodating to the group. The owner of The Davie and bartenders were awesome and we are so happy we decided to go there- it’s no wonder they have such good reviews! Highly recommend.

The Davie hosted a baby shower for us in June 2024. It was a perfect Sunday with the right ambiance and feel for our special day with family and friends. The staff members were amazing and treated us well and everyone complimented the venue and it's great location in downtown Raleigh. We would recommend the Davie to host for any special occasion. Thanks to the Davie for making our shower unforgettable!
