I'm better at driving a golf cart than I am driving a golf ball. My husband a decent golfer though so this setup gave us a great experience for both our skill levels! The food was great too. Looking forward to another visit soon.

I had the Iron Oak Burger which was very tasty and flavorful. The waitstaff were helpful and friendly. Atmosphere was cozy and quaint. A great spot for a date night or friend catch up. My only dislike was the quality of the Brussels sprouts I had as a side dish. It was a definite no go. Otherwise I enjoyedParking: Plenty of close parking in the deck next to the restaurant.

The brussel sprouts were amazing. Easily the best I’ve ever had in my life. Seating is indoor or outdoor and you can pick where you want to sit which is nice. The atmosphere is very chill. It’s a perfect, casual place to stop in and catch up with friends while enjoying a tasty meal. The area is very new and looks nice as well!

Wouldn’t recommend worst service ever and they pick and choose who to service.. the food is awful and under cooked!!!! The bartenders are rude as well!!! They want money but don’t want to give you service!!! Go somewhere else!!!

The staff wasn't super helpful in getting us started with the golf simulator. Just assumed that we would figure it out... which we did but it felt unusual. They were however very helpful with technical glitches with the simulator. The beer selection was excellent and the food was delicious. I cannot recommend the brussel sprouts enough. They were phenomenal!! Truffle fries, chicken sandwich, and Caesar salad were the other items we ordered and we were not disappointed in any of them.

I would give this 5 stars if I was rating the food portion of our visit and the server we had for it (he was fantastic). I’d give it 2 stars for the employee that “helped” us with the golf sim. Overall 4 * experience. Employee who came over to the sim was a bit of a jerk… 5 min after our reservation time and we were trying to set up our session and he walks up and says “what are you guys doing?” in the tone of a disapproving father. A “hey how’s it going, do you need help?” Would’ve been more appropriate given we were already running over our reservation because of the group before us. He canceled out exactly what we had already set up ourselves with no questions or statements and then set up the exact settings we had done for ourselves which wasted another few minutes. After asking if we could hit warm up shots before playing a course he said “I guess but you’ll have to come and find me to fix it for you later”. A quick demo or explanation of the sim would’ve been sufficient, but he didn’t give us options and was clearly annoyed before engaging with us. We were rushed and appeared to just be an inconvenience for him. We adjusted settings after he walked away and played at our leisure (the sims were solid!), but wish the guy managing the sims was a little more pleasant and engaging rather than annoyed and dismissive off the bat. I understand you’ll have a variety of experience levels with golf sims, but there was no chance to start off on the right foot with him, unfortunately.

We got drinks at The Iron Oaks while waiting for our table at nearby Sushi Mon. Sushi Mon has some of the best sushi in the Triangle, by the way: yelp.com/biz/sushi-mon-r…The drinks and service at The Iron Oaks were good. This is a relatively-new bar and lounge located on the ground floor of one of the office buildings at Glenwood Place. The Iron Oaks serves food too -- small, shareable plates + burgers and sandwiches. At the bar, the big-screen menus had dozens of beers on tap. The wine list was sizable. Our group got cocktails. There were about 10 cocktails available. My wife had The Iron Margarita ($13) and I had the Mulligan Mule ($13). Both were well made, balanced, and tasty. Simple presentation. The Iron Margarita came with Lunazul Reposado Tequila, Cointreau orange liqueur, and housemade sour mix. The Mulligan Mule is The Iron Oaks' version of the Moscow Mule. It was made with Tito's Handmade Vodka, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, and Goslings Stormy Ginger Beer. There were TVs playing sports around the bar. Homey furniture was used for the lounge spaces (e.g., tufted couches and chairs, coffee tables). It was a mix of both traditional and contemporary furniture. The indoor and outdoor dining spaces consisted of modern high-tops with Tolix (or Tolix-style) stools. Inside, a glass fireplace separated the bar and lounge areas. Outside, they have a fairly-spacious patio that's mostly covered.Hidden off to the side are two golf simulators. You can bring your own clubs if you want. I saw some guy walk in with his bag. While we were here, on a Saturday after 6pm, there was some sort of event (shower) going on. This does look like an ideal event space for smaller gatherings.Plenty of free parking is available in the adjacent deck at 3705 National Drive.Service was friendly and efficient. The men's room was out of soap and paper towels. The Iron Oaks opened on January 15, 2022: instagram.com/p/CYwhijnL…

Great service, very nice atmosphere and the food is excellent. Everything we ordered was yummy. The Black bean burger was the absolute best I have ever had, it’s a fresh home cooked black bean patty. The chef has certainly mastered what they serve here. Highly recommend this place.Vegetarian options: Black bean burger - the absolute best!
