Brunch menu is bananas. Birria burrito is top tier. Amazing service and environment
Good, interesting bar food. And the place to be if you are into (board) games. A huge collection that must represent $1000's of dollars in investment (so there is a reasonable charge.)
We loved coming here! We came early afternoon and were able to sit in the outdoor seating area, which was gorgeous! The food was incredible and the staff was so friendly! We really enjoyed the selection of games to play, but I wish we had come on the weekend when the game staff was there to help us on a game. I love that they even have board game staff! Very cool experience, definitely my favorite stop while in Raleigh!
Great service - Erica was very attentive. IMO, the rib sandwich appeared (& tasted) more like a pot roast sandwich. Doubtful if I were ever to return, that I would order it again - but it was ok. My side, a garden salad, was excellent. Selections were generously portioned, excluding the to-go cup of sweet tea requested. Dining room and bathrooms are well maintained.
Their menu is simple and so it may not read as very exciting, but even something like their broccoli appetizer is delicious. I also recommend their pickled vegetable appetizer and their wings. All excellent.
The board game selection is fine, but I think what makes this place a bit special is the staff. They're gonna listen to you, bring games to your table, teach you the rules, and check in to make sure you're having fun.
I don't love the space. The inside seating is pretty small and so you will end up on their patio. That's fine if the weather is fine, but if it's not, especially if it's hot, I find it pretty uncomfortable.
I have eaten here about five times now. Everything on the menu has been excellent, reasonably priced food and good portions. They are fairly creative on their menu, I had the goat cheese, grilled cheese sandwich, and it was outstanding. If I would ding them on anything it would be the size of their cocktails, my paper plane was tiny for $13.
The staff has always been friendly and they have over 1000 games to play if you want to bring friends etc.
The dessert options are a few, but well worth it, the beignets were outrageously good.
I have gotten their short ribs on previous occasions, and I highly recommend as well
Goat cheese salad was good---my tuna melt was not as good as the last one I had.
Four of us ladies all had GI problems after our meal.
Love the food and creative menu here!
Great way to celebrate a Birthday and find new games. We will be back.
The fried chicken wrap might be the best sandwich/wrap/sub that I've ever eaten. Such delicious flavors from a wrap, amazing. Thank you

Kevin’s Dry Rub Wings are absolutely superior. Cooked well and seasoned perfectly.
One of the best places in Raleigh I've ate at hands down.
The staff are quite delightful, I had the deep fried chicken wrap with sweet potato fries, and it was an astounding culinary experience.
I am absolutely returning to play their board games, have another salted caramel cold brew, and enjoy a lovely afternoon here! ?
My only regret is not getting a photo of my food; so I'll have to order it again - YAY!

This is by far my favorite restaurant in the Raleigh area. Amazing food and great atmosphere for a reasonable price!! The wide selection of boardgames makes it a great spot to plan a hangout too.

Wow this was an awesome experience! Our server (can't remember name) was fantastic, the food was amazing! I got the Chicken and Waffles 100% recommend, wife got Monte Cristo also delicious. Jana was our Gamemaster and was so helpful with the games and rules. I probably talked with him for 30-40 min about different games and recommendations. Please go try this place and bring friends/family! The fox in the Forest and Hive are great 2 player games to try!
